Tom and Sabine walked in the room. Instead of finding what they expected—that was Pryor with marinette—they found Adrien and Marinette.

"Adrien?" Sabine asked surprised. Walking towards him as Tom followed her. Tom couldn't hide the smile his lips were forming. It had been years since he last saw Adrien or son how Sabine and Tom liked to called him.

Let's just say they had a really good relationship before he left.

"TOM, SABINE?!" Adrien released Marinette's hand and ran towards them. He tackled Sabine into a hug as Tom grabbed both of them. Lifting them up, squeezing them tightly.

"H-Honey? I n-need to b-breathe!" Sabine exclaimed humorlessly.

Tom loosed the grip in them instantly."I'm sorry," He whispered sheepishly.

"What are doing here son? I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm so happy to see you. I'm just a bit curious." Sabine asked as Tom smiled and wrapped his arm around his wife's waist. "Oh, and have you seen Pryor? It is weird he's not here supporting his wife." Sabine chuckled.

But Adrien's happy grin faded as he heard Pryor and wife on the same sentence. He'd forgotten that Marinette didn't get the chance to tell them about the Pryor's fiasco. His skin turned pale as he breathed out nervously.

"Actually something happened with him."

Tom and Sabine looked at each other confused, Adrien continued.

"Pryor cheated on Marinette a couple of weeks ago... I've taken care of her since then." He walked towards Marinette, slipped his hands under hers and kissed her forehead gently.

"And we kind of got together." He smiled down at Marinette sleeping face and then looked up to meet Marinette's parents shocked expressions.

Tom and Sabine were speechless, they opened their mouths to say something but no words came out. However, Adrien got the wrong idea. He thought they were mad at him for jumping on (he didn't, it's just an expression, you dirty minded!) their daughter the minute she was "single."

But that wasn't it.

"Tom before you crush me, I really love your daughter. Even before I left to America. I just never got the chance to be with her. Besides I really don't want her to go through such delicate moment alone..." Adrien said, rubbing softly Marinette's swollen belly.

Sabine walked towards Adrien, she hugged him. "Dear were aren't mad at you. On the contrary, we're happy you love our daughter." Sabine hugged him tighter and then pulled away.

Tom rested his hand on Adrien's shoulder, "I always knew you're the one for her, not that bastard Pryor—Thanks son." Tom smiled at him as Adrien hold back his tears of joy.

"Mama! Papa!" Marinette yelled like a little kid, she sat up and extended her arms for them to hug her. Tom and Sabine rushed to their injured daughter and hugged her gently, not wanting to cause her pain. After all, she just got out of surgery.

"I missed you guys so much!" Marinette hugged them tighter.

"We missed you too."
