Now 18 years old Manon walked down town, her cat ears hid below the Hoodie. Her tail below her shirt, hiding her gifts from the world who call her monster. Deep in her thoughts, she didn't notice the boy walking towards her who was distracted reading.
Thud
They both fell to the floor, "A-Are you okay?" He stuttered out, Manon rose her gaze, to find some dark blue eyes, their glances bumped into each other. He was speechless at the sparkling grey eyes admiring his. She extended her hand to grab the book, their eyes still crossed. Then their hands touch above the book, electricity travel up their body's.
"I'm f-fine." Manon replied softly, she could feel her tail wiggling of happiness. He smiled sweetly and placed his hands above hers. Helping her to stand up, feeling that warmth again.
"I'm glad, I apologize for my clumsiness..-" His eyes went blank.
Her hoodie fell off..
"Are t-those r-real?" Though he still held her in a gentle grip.
Manon quickly covered them up, tears wanting to escaped from her eyes. She released herself from his warm grip, backing up. Her eyes now didn't sparkled, the happiness in them died. "Run, if you want." Her voice shook, her arms hugging herself.
He knew she was hurt, it felt like people saw her beauty but ran when her real self showed. Though he found it astonishing.
"Why will I run from such beauty?" He asked, slipping her hands under hers. Manon cat ears peek up, her tail released her self too. Those words brought new feelings to her.
Love, security, comfort.
"But I'm different, a monster I'll dare to say." Yet that couldn't erased what the world had label her as.
"Monster?" He asked surprised, his eyes looking through hers, hearts beating faster at their touch, "Just because you're different doesn't make a monster, mon cher." He tugged some of hair behind her ear. "It makes you special." He then cupped her cheek to wiped out her tears of pain who were replace with the missing puzzle for her broken heart.
"Thank you." Was all her mind could had developed.
"I didn't catch your name." He chuckled softly, kneeling down to pick up his books.
"Manon and yours?" She asked kneeling besides him to help him. "Jack." He replied, with a smile plastered on his face.
"Well I better get going, my mother must be furious...I hope I see you again." They stood up, Jack with his stacks of books.
"I hope I see you again too."
He waved and disappeared into the night.
Manon smiled warmly, her heart beating slowly and happy. She turn around the corner,
A shot echoed through the quite night. Then another.
Manon fell to floor, blood panting her clothes.
"Help me please." She yelled in pain, pressing her stomach with her hand which didn't stop bleeding. The other shot caught her cat ear, now the prefect triangle was incomplete with an open circle.A blue eyed man turned around at the scream help; a teenage girl lay on the floor, blood running through the sidewalk. As he ran closer, he recognized the girl. It was none other than his beloved daughter.
"M-Manon?!" Pryor yell frightened, he sank himself on the sidewalk beside the injured girl.
"W-Who are y-you?" Manon groaned, pressing her hand against her waist yet the blood still slid down quickly. "H-How d-do you know m-my name?" She stuttered, backing up afraid, leaving a trail of blood below her.
