The doctor came in, closed the door behind him and the curtains as well. He sat on a tiny chair with tiny wheels on the bottom which was at the end of Marinette's open legs.

He checked that everything was all right near there—which made Marinette really uncomfortable but the pain didn't let her thinking about it too much— "Okay, sweetie, the baby is near, you need you push every 3 seconds. I'll count them." the doctor informed calmly.

The burning pain was getting worst by the minute, Adrien's hand was pale because Marinette's iron grip.

"1...2...3.. Push."

She followed the orders of the doctor and pushed as hard as her weak body could. Her screams, louder than before, of pain now echoed in the room. She was soaked in sweat.

"The hell! Are those cat ears?!" One of the nurse yelled only to get smacked by doctor.

" S-SAY W-WHAT?!" Marinette panted.

"Nothing princess. Just keep pushing." Adrien rubbed her chest gently.

"I can see head, were almost there." The doctor tried to cover up the screwed up of the nurse.

"1...2...3... Push."

Marinette pushed again, but this one it felt worst. Every bone in her body made crack sound. Adrien froze at the sound, he wrapped his arm around her waist and buried his face on her shoulder. "Hang in there my lady."

"Just one more and she's out." the doctor confirmed.

"1...2...3... Push." The last terrified scream of agony escaped her mouth as she pushed for the last time... The little baby cat was out. She fell back down again, breathing heavily as the nurses took the little kitty cat to clean it up.

"You did it honey!" Adrien said excitedly, giving her multiple kisses on her cheek as his hand never left hers.

But something started to get Marinette worried. The baby wasn't crying, just dead silence, she feared the worst.

Marinette tighten the grip on Adrien's hand just with the thought of it. "Is there something wrong Mari?"

"The baby isn't crying Adrien. What if she's...-" Marinette was shushed by those warm lips she loved so much. He pulled away and cupped her cheeks, "She's fine Marinette." He assured rubbing her back with his other hand.

Then the nurse came with her baby wrapped around a blanket, covering the cat ears and tail, so Marinette won't notice at first sight. The nurse placed the baby in Marinette's arms and smile warmly before leaving them alone.

"Hey there baby girl." Marinette said softly as tears of joy sliding down her cheeks. Adrien slipped his arm around her neck. He came closer, their cheeks were against each other, their eyes full of admiration never left "their" daughter.

Little did they know Pryor was watching it all through the window. Tears escaping his eyes. Because of? He wasn't sure, they were of joy or sadness? Maybe Both. He wanted to stormed Marinette with kisses and hugged the little baby girl who once was his.

I love both of you so much but I have lost you.. he cried inside him.

"Marinette there's something you need to know..."  Adrien's voice trailed off. He tighten his grip on her, Marinette looked at him filled with horror.
