A piece of concrete landed besides them. Because of his instincts, Adrien, swept Marinette from her feet ready to run. The brunette on front of them sighed tiredly and got into a combat position.

"Bleu feathers out!" A blue light flashed on the brunette as she was immediately turn into the peacock superhero, pagoní, of New York which Marinette and Adrien didn't know. The brunette extended her tail and used it to fly where the akuma was.

Adrien and Marinette's jaws dropped to the floor. Not believing their eyes, " lShe's a miraculous holder, she.. who.. why.. how!" Marinette stuttered before fainting. She fell to the floor with a loud thud. Adrien spun around to find his wife laying on the floor unconscious.

"The hell?! Marinette! Mari!" Adrien slapped her cheek lightly, nothing. He placed his ear on her chest, "Okay s-she's b-breathing." He sighed relived and rubbed her temples softly.

Adrien felt darkness upon him, he looked up to see dark clouds covering the sunny day.

Pieces of concrete, landed besides them, he collected Marinette on his arms and started to run.

But a big pice of concrete was heading their way, to fast to escaped, Adrien tighten the grip on Marinette and pecked her lips, "Killed by a pice of concrete how heroic." He thought, ready for the impact.

Instead of felling to be smashed, he felt to be pushed out the way.

"Thud."

The piece of concrete smashed someone for him.

Adrien spun around to find none other than the brunette who welcome them, her transformation wear off, an injured kwami landed on the floor, Tikki and Plagg went to her rescue. While Adrien placed Marinette on the floor and came closer to the brunette.

"Why did you saved me?"

She groaned. As she tried to move tiny rocks rolled down, she placed her hand on his cheek, "Because that's what mothers do to protect their children." She coughed and started to feel weaker by the minute.

"W-What?"

"I am your mom, Nicole Agreste, nice to see again baby." She coughed again, "Say hi to you dad for me, will ya?" Her eyelids started to close slowly while her hand slipped down his cheek.

"Wait wait, you can't die m-mom... p-please d-don't leave a-again.."

"Don't worry about me I'll be f-fine.."

She fell unconscious.

Tom was opening the door of the bakery while Sabine carried Manon.

They enter and went upstairs. Tom left to prepare the crib for Manon as Sabine waited sitting on a couch with Manon's head laying on her shoulder.

Manon started to meow angrily. With her clawed hand she started to scratch Sabine's chest. "Miwlk!" She demanded as she buried her head on Sabine's chest, rubbing her her cat ears against it.
