Dick Grayson x Gone Missing (2)

Recap of part 1: Dick had gone missing for 3 years without a trace. No one could find him, not even Bruce. You were up all day and night looking for him non-stop. Until one day a Talon showed up in gotham and you were the one who happen to go toe-to-toe with him only to find out that it was Dick under that mask.

There were no words to describe how you felt at the moment. He let go of you and took a step back to take you in as he observed every single bit of you.

You looked up into his blue eyes and saw more tears forming in them. "How long was I gone (y/n)?" He was towering over you. You hesitated before answering and watched as he started to get more nervous. "(Y/n)?" He grabbed your hands and slowly intertwined them with his. "Please tell me." You tried avoiding his gaze.

You looked down at the ground. "3 years." You let go of his hands. "You were gone Dick, no phone call, no letter, no nothing." You took a deep breath as you continued. "Everyone looked for you every single day." You took a step back still refusing to look up at him. "You just disappeared." You rubbed your arm nervously.

"(Y/n), I-" before he could continue on you interrupted him knowing what he was going to say next.

"Lets get you home, okay?" You stepped forward and grabbed a hold of his hand and gave him a small smile as you tapped your comms.

"(Y/n)? Is everything alright?" It was Barbara on the other end.

"Im coming home now Barb, and I've got someone with me, call everyone back to the cave, now." You and Dick didn't say a word until you got off the rooftop.

"Are you just going to keep ignoring me?" He finally spoke up breaking the silence between the both of you as you hopped on your bike. "I've been gone for 3 years and now you're ignoring me." He ran his fingers through his hair as he turned away from you.

"We'll talk once I get you back to the cave, now, get on this damn bike before I have to throw you on it myself!" You spat at him, he didn't make things worse and did as you said.

The ride back was in complete silence, nothing was heard but the sound of your bikes motor. The entrance opened and you drove right in and parked your bike. You hopped off and heard voices coming from deeper inside the cave, you sighed and turned to Dick. "Stay here." You turned away from him.

"What do you think they'll say?" You looked over your shoulder and saw him looking at the floor. You turned back around and walked up to him placing a hand on his cheek.

"They're going to be happy you're back, Dick." he placed his hand over yours and gave you a small smile. You let go and smiled back. "Let me break the news to them." You braced yourself for anything that they would say in response.

Leaving him behind you walked further into the cave and spotted everyone anxiously waiting around.

"There you are! I hope you have a good reason for calling this meeting." The green eyed boy huffed. "I was in the middle of kicking Tim's ass in sparing again!" Jason crossed his arms as he leaned against the computer.

"I know it's rare for me to agree with Todd, but in this case I do, so what is the meaning of this?" Damian raised a brow.

Before you could speak tell them Tim spoke first. "Will the both of you shut up, and let her talk?" He glared at Jason and Damian and they glared back.

You turned to Bruce who was standing there in silence waiting for them all to stop arguing. "Who did you bring with you?" He crossed his arms.

"You can come in now." You looked to the doorway as Dick walked in. Everyone in the room grew quiet as they stared at him. All of them were shocked at what he was wearing.
