Another night in Gotham as we chase down another thug, and to be honest right now, it's not even fun anymore. There use to be a thrill to chasing them down and locking them up. But now? Not so much.

You sat on the ledge pondering through your thoughts. "Batgirl? How are you doing?" You heard a deep voice call to you.

Your gaze travelled over to Terry who was in his Batman suit, only you noticed he was without his mask on.

"So far so good, tonight's quiet. Wouldn't you say?" You spoke back to him softly and looked back at the city once more.

"Well, Bruce just told me there's a gun trade going on in downtown Gotham. We haven't had one of those in a while." He walked over and smiled at you warmly. "Want to go check it out?" He lent a hand and you gradually took it.

"Sounds schway." You grinned at him widely and walked past him.

"Ha—ha very funny." He grabbed you suddenly by your wrist. "Let's be careful tonight, okay?" His eyes had a hint of concern behind them, but you didn't want to worry him more.

"As always Terry, don't worry." You playfully pushed his chest away from you and watched him throw his mask over his face.

You both ran off the edge of the building and safely glided down the the street below where both your bike and his car were parked. You hopped on and headed in the direction of the trade.

You comms started beeping. "Hey, we're getting pretty close. Let's park the vehicles somewhere so that no one sees us." Looking behind you saw he was almost tailing you.

"You're right, follow me then." You turned into an alleyway that was right next to the warehouse. With Terry following close behind, you slowly drove all the way down until you hit the dead end. You hopped off your bike and heard Terry open the car door.

"Okay, let's split up. You take the back entrance and I'll take the rooftop?" Raising an eyebrow at him you began to pout.

"Why exactly do you get the rooftop?" You crossed your arms over your chest and began tapping your boot as you waited for his reply.

"Oh come on! Don't fight with me you got the rooftop last time." He started to whine.

You scoffed and stepped closer to him. "Did not!" You raised your voice.

He took that as a chance to step forward as well. "Did so!" Terry was just as stubborn as you were and it was a nightmare when the two of you argued like this.

"Did—" but before you could finish your sentence someone interrupted you.

"You hear something?" It was a man with a deep husky voice. Terry put his arm in front of you and backed the two of you up against the wall carefully so that you would not make another sound. The two thugs looked around for a few second and shrugged their shoulders before walking back into the warehouse.

"Stay out of sight until my signal." You pushed Terry away and ran into the back entrance of the warehouse. Once inside you spotted the perfect squatting position and hid behind a huge container.
