Friends I think not

chapter 4

It had been twenty minutes and we had finally gotten to the beach. "Okay so just so you know there is no alcohol here," he assured me. "Okay so are we gonna sit here or go hang out,"I asked. "Lets go then," he said. We talked for a bit with his friends but I started to get bored so I rented a surfboard from the rental shop and started waxing it. After I waxed my board I took my shirt and shorts off and set them in the car, picked up the board and ran into the water. I paddled out and waited for a wave. It took about three minutes until finally I found a big wave. I got up just in time for the wave to hit the board. I did a couple tricks until the wave was gone. As I washed back up I heard clapping. I looked up and saw everyone clapping so I took a bow. "That was so cool can you teach me how to do that," a random girl asked me. "Sure but I don't have a board so your going to have to rent one," I explained. "That's okay I have mine in my jeep. I'll go get it," she said. I nodded and waited for her to get back. "Hey that was really impressive," I heard a familiar voice say. "Why thank you," I say back to Austin. "Okay I'm back," the girl exclaimed. "Okay first things first, what's your name,"I asked. "Oh right hi I'm Emily," she explained. "Okay so now let's head in the water and then I'll show you the first step to that trick, ok," I asked. " Okay," she practically screamed. After about twelve minutes we got off our boards and went back to shore. "Hey wanna go swim," Austin asked. "Yeah sure," I replied. At the beach they had a boat launch deck with a two poles that made a triangle that had a rope hanging down so you could jump in, then it had a boat not a big one but a small one with a slide, and then it had two swing so you can swing into the water. Me and Austin went swimming for like a half an hour so we got our towels and went back to the drink bar. I got a water and he got coke. "Hey wanna take the boat out to shore you know just you and me so we can talk alone," he asked. "Sure,"I said back. We got on the boat and set off. "So um what do you want to talk about," I asked. "Well I wanted to know more about you," he replied smiling. "Ok well my middle name is rose, I love pizza, my favorite color is blue, I'm single, I love all sports, I love with my mom, and I love sleeping," I finished. "Now your turn," I say to him smiling. "Ok well everything you said is the same as me but my middle name is thomas," he said all in one breathe. "Well looks like we have a lot in common," I said in response. "We might wanna head back," he said breaking the small silence. "Ok," I said. As we headed back I couldn't stop thinking about what my grandma had said. "Hey let's go sit by fire," I said excitedly. "Ok," he said back. We headed to the fire and sat down on a towel. It started to get really cold I was shivering so bad. "Hey are you cold," Austin asked me. I nodded in response. I grabbed his sweatshirt and handed it to me. "Thanks," I said starting to warm up. "No problem," he said smiling. He pulled me closer to his side. And I snuggled in next to him. We took some super cute pictures that were so tumbler. It was one in the morning so me and Austin left. "Hey thanks for bringing me along," I said thanking him. "No problem I had a great time," he explained. "Me too," I said smiling at him. We pulled up in his driveway and he walked me to my house. "Um do you want your jacket back," I asked getting ready to give it back. "No you can keep it, as a memory of tonight," he said. as we stood in silence he started to lean in so I did to and BAM!!!! His and my lips crashed as we kissed. I broke off the kids and we both said goodnight and I headed inside. I went up the stairs into my room and put on some sweatpants and just kept his sweatshirt on.
I woke up at six in the morning and ate breakfast. I then heard my phone go off.

Austin- hey wanna go for a walk

Me- sure meet me at the big hanging tree

Austin- ok meet you in an hour

Me-ok

I went upstairs and showered I dryer my hair and put in two French braids, then I put on a crop top that had a pizza emoji on it and some high wasted shorts with my with converse. I did my makeup and brushed my teeth. I grabbed my phone and twenty bucks and ran out to the tree. I sat down and started to face time my mom. It took two seconds and she picked up. "Hey mom," I said. "Hi baby girl how are you? How's grandma?" She asked me. "I'm doing great and grandma's fine she went to bingo just an hour ago," I explained to her. "Okay ilove you but I have to go bye," she said. "bye love you too," I said and hung up. " Hey where were you," I asked. "I had to eat," he explained. "Oh I have to go grab something hold on," I said and ran in to grab the jacket he gave me. It was a leather jacket. "Okay let's go on that walk," I said as we started to walk. "So about what happened last night. I know your leaving soon but I really like you," he started. "Well that's good cause guess what," I said. "What," he said. "I like you too," I said smiling. "That's good so ready to see we're I'm taking you," he said. "Yes,"I said excitedly. We walk over to a black black escalade with a driver. "What's all this," I ask. "You'll see," he says smiling. He opens the door for me and helps me in and goes to the other side and gets in himself. "Ok so where are we going," I ask. "Well first we're going to get some lunch and then i am taking you to a special place, ok?" He says. "Ok," I say back. It took us fifteen minutes to get there but we pull up to a small cafe and he gets out and opens the door for me. "Why thank you kind sir," I say joking. "Your welcome my lady," he says and we both burst out laughing. We get inside and order our lunch we both got pizza. We are our lunch making small talk and paid and left for the surprise. It is now 12:00 and apparently it will take 4 hours to get there. "I'm so tired," I said yawning. "Me too," he said in agreement. Since we don't have to put belts on he pulled me close and he put the seats down so it was flat and laid my head on his chest and covered me and him in a blanket and fell asleep. Me and him woke up when the driver said we were there. When we sat up I saw something I was not expecting. We were at a carnival. "No way. Are you serious," I asked. He just smiled and nodded. When we got out he gave me Minnie ears and he had Mickey ears. "Awww that is so cute," I exclaimed. Ready to ride some dollar coasters," he asked. "Yeah I am," I said. "Alright let's go on the twister," he said I just followed it had been like two and a half hours of riding rides so we got some popcorn and a soda to share. We went over to the games. "Ooh lets do this one," I said only cause it was a throwing game. "Alright here you go, you get three balls to knock all of them down but if you get them all down with one ball then you get the giant bear," the booth guy said. "Come on Austin you got this," I said he failed twice but the third time he got it but even though we lost the guy gave it to us because we paid him for it. "Thanks Austin this is the best night ever," I said hugging him. "Your welcome," he said hugging me back. "Hey let's go ride the Ferris wheel," I said since it was the only ride we didn't go on. "Ok," he said in response. We got on and got stopped at the top. "So I wanted to know anna, would you like to be my girlfriend," he asked. "Yes a million times yes," I said giving him a hug that turned into a kiss. We got off and threw away our pop and refilled our popcorn. "Lets get home," I said. "Hold on there is one more thing I have left and is waiting for us," he said. "Well okay but I should let my grandma know I'm not gonna be home for a while," I said. "Don't worry I already did," he said. "Okay," I said back. We hoped in the car and put the seats flat again and didn't fall asleep but just laid together. "Hey Austin," I asked. "Yeah," he replied. "What happens when I leave to go home," I asked. "I have no idea but lets not focus on the future or the past let's just focus on the present," he spoke soothingly. "Okay," I replied and fell asleep.
