Chapter 5.

*Mark*

I woke up the next morning on the couch.

I could hear a crackling sound coming from the kitchen, so i got up to check where the sound was coming from.
San was in the kitchen making breakfast for everyone.
She turned around as I sat at the island.

"Morning Mark".

She smiled.

"Morning beautiful".

She blushed and turned her attention back to the stove.

"I start work today".

She smiled as she handed me a plate of bacon and eggs.

"That's awesome".

I said as she sat beside me with her own plate.

"I know".

She smiled to herself.

"Maybe I could do Daniel's Friday routine".

I smiled at her.
She smiled slightly.

"Sure, I'd love that",

We talked until she went to her room to change into her scrubs.
She told me her coffee order.
Since tomorrow is friday, I am able to continue what Daniel started.

"You are able to go home if you want, I told Sean and Wiishu they could stay here instead of the hotel".

I nodded.

"Have fun at work okay, I will bring your coffee to you tomorrow". 

I kisses her head and headed home.

*Samantha*

He kisses my head and leaves.
I couldn't stop myself from blushing a bright red.
I looked at the time.
I grabbed my keys and headed to the hospital.

*At the hospital*

"Ah Nurse McLoughlin".

Nancy the receptionist smiled at me.

"Hello Nancy, is Dr. Peters in"?

She looked at her clipboard.

"He is, he's in room 234 with a little girl named Lillie, he told me to let you go on in".

I thanked her and went to the room.
I opened the door.

"Ah hello Samantha".

Dr. Peters said to me as I walked into the room.

"This is Lillie, she will be your first patient".

He moves over and reveals a little girl, about the age of 6.

"Hello Lillie, I'm Samantha".

She smiled at me.

"Hi Nurse Samantha".

I smiled.

"You can call me Sammy".

She nodded.

"Lillie, I am going to go out into the hall and talk to Nurse McLoughlin and we will be back in just a few minutes, you can play on your ipad".

She grabbed her ipad as we went into the hall.

"Lillie here has Reye's syndrome".

I nodded as I knew what he was telling me.

"I'm assigning you as her helper/nurse".

I nodded.

"Alright, I can do that".

He smiled.
