Both young and fine, mighty kings step forth into the castle isolated from the rest of the other lands.
They wanted nor feud;
nor land;
nor jewels;
nor gold.
Instead, they bear fine chests filled with gold and pure silk.
For they wished to find a maiden whom shall be their wife; their queen. The maiden who shall take rightful possession of their heart, and shall bear their children.
Indeed; it is a small kingdom. Yet they have heard rumors from far and wide about a princess so fair and pure; a maiden who's beauty is like no other.
Kings and princes from far and wide tried to court this beauty; yet they seem to arrive back to their kingdoms with frowns upon their faces.
For you see, this princess awaits for the man who shall make her heart race; who shall make her fall in love the moment their eyes interlock.
The rulers of the land gazed at them with smiles etched upon their faces-clearly pleased upon the suitors of their daughter.
The queen nodded; and the king flicked his fingers to the royal guard, approving.
"And our princess; Princess Alexa."
For once, rumors did not utter lies.
A beautiful maiden stepped out, her skin a snow and her eyes a forest of green; lips tender and red, her steps leaving the air gracious.
Beautiful.
Their eyes locked; a forest green clashing against the icy blue.
Nothing.
Their eyes locked; a forest green meeting it's own reflection.
Heart racing;
butterflies freeing.
They are in love.
"I shall see you tomorrow, my suitor." With grace in her voice and light upon her smile; she turned, retreating to her chamber. This time, with love in her heart.
They are in love.
