I've been wanting to say this but I keep forgetting so I'm writing it right here right now okok.

I read your guys's comments and I just... dsfdfgn. Like you guys comment 'this made me cry!' or 'I HATE SO AND SO.' and I just sit there like 'YYYYYESSS.' I cant really describe it but as a writer my own goal is to evoke emotion out of my readers, and when I see stuff like that and I've successfully made them cry (i'm heartless I know) or hate a certain person I'm like.... !!!!! Yay I'm going in the right direction and these people aren't sitting there like stones they're getting involed too! So I just wanna say thank you guys for all of those comments and thank you for the votes :) we're not done yet though!

AND OMG SORRY but if you want a song to listen to near the end of this chapter, I'll put it over in the side bc its what I wrote it to okok it's Clairvoyant by The Story So Far

okay, read on.

Cara's POV

The first thing I saw when I woke up was a large figure and spiky hair charging into our room and jumping onto the bed.

"Wake up! IT'S CHRISTMAS!" Jaime shouted at both Vic and I who were still half asleep and strewn over one another from the night before. I let out a groan and rolled over to check the time; the alarm clock flashed 6:50am. I groaned again in distress, not wanting to get up this early and rolled back into Vic's side. His arms instantly wrapped around me and held me close.

"Jaime we're adults. We don't need to be up at the fucking crack of dawn to open presents." Vic snapped, obviously cranky he was woken up. From the end of the bed Jaime scowled down at Vic.

"If you two aren't downstairs in five minutes I'm eating your breakfast." He threatened, jumping off of the bed and charging into another room.

I glanced up at Vic and cuddled closer to him, sighing into his chest. "It's the least we could do. He's at least trying to be happy without her."

Vic seemed to consider this for a moment and then let out a sigh, nodding and pushing himself up into a sitting position. I sat up with him, pecking him on the lips and beginning to climb out of bed. He quickly dragged me back to him and planted a passionate kiss on my lips. I couldn't bear to pull away; I had missed him so much in the past few days. In the hospital we hardly had any alone time, and last night was the first time in a while we were alone. Nothing happened of course, considering I was half loopy from all of the blood they took. Still, it was so comforting to finally be back in his arms.

We broke away, the both of us panting while he wrapped me close in his arms again. I planted a kiss on his chest and then one last peck on his lips before meeting his eyes. "I love you." I couldn't keep the three words in my mouth. Every time I gazed into those soft brown eyes I just broke down and words came tumbling out. Vic smiled sleepily and rolled out of bed, offering me his hand and helping me off the mattress. I took it, letting him pull me up and spin me around before he pulled my body to his.

He pressed his forehead to mine and met my eyes again. "I love you too Cara. I love you so much. More than anything else in my life." I felt the blush creep up onto my cheeks and his telltale smirk told me he noticed it too.

He gently brushed his thumb across my cheek, his touch sending a tingling sensation through my body. "C'mon." He broke out into a soft smile and tugged me toward the door toward the stairs, never letting his grip on my hand loosen. "Let's get breakfast before Jaime inhales it all."

I let out a laugh and pulled my hand away. "I'll be right back. Go ahead." He shot me a strange look but shrugged and headed down stairs, leaving me to retrieve Tony's gift from our bathroom and set it up in his room after the coast was clear.
