Spirited Away 2 - Back To The Spirit World

Chapter 9: back to work

Chihiro fell in a deep sleep, not a very good sleep to be exact. It's been almost 24 hours her parents have seen her. Her friend Mai was sure to notice she wasn't at school and her parents would be worry sick already. Would they give up searching for her and pronounce her dead, or will they continue looking for her? Did they know she would be back in the spirit world. Of course no, they don't know this is the spirit world, they didn't remember being pigs.

"Chihiro,chihiro" she felt someone shaking her softly and calling her name
Her eyes fluttered open . It was haku
"The bath house opens soon, I think it's best if you get ready. I'm sure lin will fit you with your uniform" he said politely.

She sat up on the bed and stretched every muscle in her body and swung her legs off the bed, forgetting she was only in her underwear. She quickly attempted to cover herself up with her hands. Haku covered his eyes

"Don't worry I'm not looking, I'll go down and get your clothes if that's what you prefer?" He asked

"Yes that would be better actually" she said in agreement
Haku left the room

Chihiro walked around hakus room, it was very basic but looked like it had never been slept in before. The windows were spotless. Not a speck of dirt of smudge in sight. His sheets were fresh and his dresser was polished with no dust at all.

Very soon haku knocked on the door and came in with a pile of pink clothing in his arms.
"I'm sure these are your size"
holding them out to her chest, after all she was 10 and very puny and she has grown a fair bit.
" thank you" she said gratefully and he left the room.
Chihiro pulled the uniform over her head and walked to the elevator and went downstairs to meet lin
....
"Sen" lin came running up to her giving her another bone crushing hug
" nice to see you too" chihiro said sarcastically
"Lin and sen you've got the big tub today. We have a special customer coming today" a frog came behind them
"This is frog work" said lin throwing her cloth to the ground in rage
The frog gave her a dirty look and went away in a huff
"Come on sen we Better get a move on" lin started working towards the big bath.
To her coincidence it was he exactly same tub that chihiro has bathed the river spirit 7 years ago in return he gave her medicine which helped no face and haku.
..
" this is disgusting" lin said grumpily
The tub was covered in grass and sludge which was refusing to come off
" what happend here" chihiro asked pointing to the sludge which was on the tub.
"That happend because we had a swamp spirt in here, believe it or ok the have us a good tip and left yubaba happy for a few Days" said lin wiping her forehead.

A frog poked his head around the corner.
"Lin and sen, our guest is here. Don't keep him waiting much longer"
