Sam and Colby hung out all day.

✖ Sam's POV ✖

"What time is it? My phones dead." I ask Colby.
"6:45pm" Colby checks his phone.
I was quiet for a second.
"Wanna come to my place and we can order pizza? My roommate Liam isn't home tonight so you can come over." I ask him.
"Yeah sure." Colby answers, smiling. 'Awe'

(At Sam's Flat)

"Can you search the number for Mamas Pizza?" I ask Colby.
"Yep, here it is." Colby showed me the number on his phone.

A middle aged woman answered, "Good evening, this is Mamas Pizza, may I take your order?"
"Yeah, can we have a large pepperoni pizza please?" I ask.
"Yep! That will be $17 and it will be ready in 35 minutes." The lady said.

"It's just around the corner, do you want to come with me to pick it up?" I ask Colby.
"Of course." Colby says.

On the way there, a little girl ran up to Colby and gave him a flower.
'Awww' I thought.

Colby gave the flower to me, "Thanks for the pizza." Colby said.

'!!!!!'

(Back at Sam's flat)

8:00pm

"Do you wanna watch Batman?" I ask Colby.
"Haha sure, as long as you want to." Colby says.

I put the movie in my Xbox and grab the remote and pressed play.

10:41pm

"Ca- can I sleep over?" Colby asks me, shyly.
"Yeah, anytime." I smile.

"Sorry I'm just, tired, it's been.. a long, couple of days, Brennen has problems and he needs alone time, and I live kinda far." Colby said quietly.

"My bed is really small, I'm not sure if both of us can fit, are you fine with us sleeping on the floor?" I ask nervously.

"Yeah, it's okay, you don't have to, it's your bed." Colby says.

'But I want to' I thought.

"No it's okay, you're my guest, I'd like it to be fair." I say.

Colby helps me lay out a couple blankets and pillows on the carpet floor. We lay down, about half a foot from each other.

"It's been, a good day." Colby says, tiredly.

"Yeah, it has." I whisper then smile, not letting Colby see me.

8:00am

'Wow, it's early.' I thought, checking my phone after waking up. 'Ugh I have to go to the bathroom.'
I look beside me to see Colby waking up also, and his hand on my left arm.

I slowly move my arm away.

I got up but Colby's hand flew out and grasped my ankle before I could walk away.
"Sam?"
"Uh-huh?" I said, Colby couldn't see how red his face was.
"Stay wi' me." Colby rolled over, his sleepy smile turning my smile into a drum as its edges caught the meager light from the luminous window.

'I, I have to go to the bathroom." I said.
"Please?" Colby said, with big eyes.
I laid down.

Colby moved closer to me,
"Sam?" He said.
"Yeah Colby?"
"I'm cold." Colby says.

I start to move my arm around Colby, I hesitate, but close my eyes and set my arm around his neck, my hand on Colby's shoulder.

Colby moves his arm over my chest.

I felt warm inside. Like everything was gonna be okay.

And we were there for what felt like infinity.

Later that morning, we ate breakfast and Colby went home.

"Yeah, uh thanks for letting me stay the night." Colby says to me.

"No problem."

I smile when he shuts the door.

I sit on my couch and turn on Netflix.

I suddenly feel confused and wonder why I felt like this, why do I feel like this, it doesn't make sense.
