Valentine [Ayano x Budo]

Chapter 7 // Sleepover

Budo's POV
I wasn't really paying attention to anyone, my mind was on Ayano. She really knew how to help me calm down. She would trace her fingers on every bone on my face and play softly with my hair. By the time it reached me, Haruto and Saki had confessed their love to each other, Kokona and Hayato were sat hand in hand and Mina was wearing all her clothes inside out.
Don't ask me what happened because I don't have a fucking clue.
"Budo, it's you're turn... Budo." Ayano said calmly
"Mhm." I said reaching for the hat with my eyes still closed. After a few failed attempts Ayano brought the hat to me and let me choose one, before reading it out to me.
"It says switch." she laughed
"Argh you bitch." I said sitting up, "Show me. Be tickled by the person on your left. Oh fu-" my sentence was cut off by Ayano jumping on me tickling me gently
"Oh god stop!" I cried out laughing
"Only if you switch!"
"Okay okay I will I promise just make it stop!" she got off of me and I crossed my legs, allowing her to rest her head in my lap.
"You guys are so adorable!" Kokona slipped out, so I gave her a death glare, "Sorry."
It was hard not confessing to Ayano
- like, extremely hard. And Kokona saying shit like that did not make it easy for me. Not at all.

Time skip to about 10pm, Haruto, Saki, Kokona and Hayato were all laying in a line on the floor, while me and Ayano laid on our inflatable bed and Mina took the couch. By the looks of it, everyone is asleep except me and Ayano

"Budo, are you okay now?" she whispered, hugging my side
"I'm better now Aya." I whispered back, wrapping an arm around her
"Good. But, if there's something bothering you just tell me. I want to be here for you."
"I know you do. Just go to sleep Ayano."
The only thing bothering me was being unable to confess to her. It bothered me that Ayano thought it was just a dare, and her disappointed face when she thought that bothers me the most. I love her, but I can't do anything about it yet.
"Maybe we should wake them." I heard a whisper
"No way, they look adorable."
"But it's 11am and they're still asleep."
"Let them wake up on their own."
"They're so cute together!"
If I could be arsed, I would have said something. But before I could, Ayano beat me to it.
"You guys know I'm awake, right?" she laughed
"How long have you been awake?" Kokona asked
"A couple hours." she'd been here cuddling me for the past couple hours?
"Why didn't you say anything? We've already had breakfast."
"I promised Budo I was always going to be there for him. So I'm keeping my promise. I always wait for him to wake up, and he's really lazy! But he's so cute when he's sleeping!" she thinks I'm cute?
"The martial arts master cute? I don't know about that.." Hayato laughed
"Just look at him! It's very rare that he lets his guard down, but when he's asleep he looks so peaceful and he always lets me hug him. He's so adorable." she said hugging me tighter. I wanted to say something so bad, but I didn't want Ayano to feel awkward.
"Do you want us to bring you some breakfast?"
"No thanks, I'll wait for Budo."
"Ayano.." Hayato whispered something, but I couldn't hear what.
"Really?" she replied and he assured her of whatever, "Well I'm still not leaving."
"Haruto go get a marker pen." Hayato said
"Why?"
"So we can draw on Budo's face!"
"Touch me and I'll release all the air in this bed up your asshole." I slipped out
"See! I told you he was awake." Hayato laughed
"How did you know?" I asked
"Because you blushed when she called you cute."
"Wait.. You heard that?" she asked embarrassed
"You're extremely adorable Ayano." I said kissing her forehead, causing her to burrow her face into my chest, trying to hide. "You know I can see you, right?"
"How much did you hear?"
"All of it."
"Follow up question. How long have you been awake?"
"That depends on what time it is."
"It's 11am."
"Then I don't want to say."
"I was awake for two hours so however long you were awake was nothing."
"I've been awake three and a half hours." I whispered in Ayano's ear
"Really?" she smiled
"Mhm." I said sitting up
"So you just wanted to cuddle me as much as I wanted to cuddle you?" she said as her smile grew wider
"Yep." I smiled back at her
"Budo!" she said sitting on my lap and hugging me 10x what she had before
"We'll give you guys some privacy." they said leaving the room.
"From now on, we cuddle whenever we want." she said finally releasing me
"Sounds like a plan." I smiled
"Budo.." she said resting her forehead on mine

Ayano's POV
He practically already knew how I felt, I should just tell him.
"Budo.." I started, resting my forehead on his. He wrapped one arm around my waist and the other he used to caress my face. I felt unstable so I rested an arm on his abs.
"I.. Uh.." he stuttered
"Are you guys coming for breakfast?"
"Yeah." Budo answered. I got off of him and put out my hand to help him up, but he didn't take it.
We walked to the kitchen in silence and joined everyone else. Budo whispered something to Saki and she nodded, before they both left. This had been happening a lot, I don't know why, but I trust them both.
"I can't!" Budo shouted. Everyone looked at me for answers but I didn't know either.
"I'll be uh.."
"Go to him Ayano."
I ran upstairs to where I had heard the shout to see Saki sitting next to Budo, who had his head in his knees crying.
"What did you do?" I shouted at Saki
"S-She didn't do a-anything Ayano." Budo said still looking down
"Just talk to him." Saki said walking back downstairs
"Budo-" I was cut off by Budo leaning on my shoulder
"I'm sorry."
