I stare
I stare at the Garden District
Inhaling all its splendor
Vibrant in its rich virility
of wakefulness
Ever steady and ever tall,
majestic and ageless
Such a beauty that knows no rival
and ignites adoration
in passing eyes
Behold the iron gates
that decorate and hold
a lovely place,
majestic and endless
Such beauty where
all who travel
come to marvel
to find a peace in perfection,
majestic and ageless
