Do you read Wattpad books?
I do, all the time, and there is things that I'm noticing, things that make me roll my eyes, and dramatically fall on my bed in annoyance.

So. Why is the minority of point of views, boys? I think that maybe there is a lot of ladies on Wattpad, maybe more then men, and they like to write from their own gender. But c'mon. You gotta shake it up. It changes the regular idea of books, especially fanfiction like Percy Jackson, Teen Wolf. When it's always girls, you have go on a hunt for something different.

If you have a third person story, still you could have a main character that is a boy. Make your story out of the ordinary! Because that is how it gets recommended, put on reading lists, and comments.
