I do, all the time, and there is things that I'm noticing, things that make me roll my eyes, and dramatically fall on my bed in annoyance.

Main characters. Yayayayayayayayayay. This is what most books have, of course. But one thing. Why aren't there a lot of black main characters? Or gay? But. It's always the side kick. The best friend. Noooo. Why always. Here's the thing. When people have main characters that are gay, or lesbian, they always tag it. Why? Okay. Maybe if all romances are not opposites sex then you can tag it. But it doesn't always have to be tagged. Because that's surprise to the reader, and if someone doesn't like it... Well deal with it. If you have such a strong belief about this, leave the story. But get use to it hon. This is now society. I've accepted it. It's not going away anytime soon. People of color main characters. This is what I don't get... Why aren't there more Hispanic, Latino, etc.? Seriously? It's skin color and culture. So when you're doing a story on a computer and you add someone to play your character, do a black actor or actress. Heck, maybe refer to a culture that may not get the attention it should have *respectfully*. It brings more to a story. Be creative in making your characters.
