Kalani POV
I carefully closed the door, making sure it didn't squeak.
"So you finally decide to come home ?"
I nearly jumped out my damn skin hearing my mother voice.
I looked at her before walking upstairs.
"Kalani ! Kalani ! Don't act like you don't hear me talking to you !"
I slammed my door close. A few seconds later she came bursting in.
"What the hell has gotten into you ? And where the hell are your clothes ? Don't tell me you were h-"
"Mom don't even."
"You try sneaking in here after hopping out a stranger car ? I can't belie-"
"Half of the guys you sleep with are strangers. Don't go lecturing me when you don't got yourself together."
A surprised look flashed on her face before rage quickly took over.
"Kalani Sheree Adams, get out of this house !"
"Fine, you were only doing me a favor."
I shut the door in her face before locking it. I need to change out these clothes.

"So she basically kicked you out ?"
"I don't know. I don't even follow her up, she don't even be home half of the time. Shit, most of the time."
I blew out the smoke and passed her the blunt.
My Mom "kicked" me out, so I pulled up on my bestie. I actually thought this bitch was dead or some shit. Her face was hilarious when she saw it was just me banging on her door.
"Do you sometimes think she's just watching out for you ?"
"She isn't watching out for shit. She only cares for herself."
She shrugged and passed me back the blunt.
"So tell me the details. I got your message."
"Bitch I knew you had my message. You didn't even text nor call me back."
She wrapped her arms around me, pulling me into a tight hug.
"I'm sorry my poor, blonde baby. I was passed the fuck out."
She let me go.
"Sure you was.", I rolled my eyes.

"Well after the whole shoot out, I woke up at this guy place."
