Robin said that we should get to he dune today, but I'm not sure if I'll make it out of hell.

My muscles felt numb and beast boy is carrying me again. I was sweating a lot. Even for the desert heat. I couldn't even sleep last night. My heart was beating a mile a minute.

"Beast Boy, put me down." I commanded. He put me on my butt and I sat there.

"What's wrong Raven?" he asked worriedly. He still had the worried look on his face he had for the last 3 miles.

"Can you take my pulse?" I asked. I know its and odd question, but I feel like the blood going trough my body is going too fast.

"Why?" He asked.

"Just do it."

He took my wrist in his hand and pressed his thumb on it. When he was done counting his eyes were wide.

"Well?"

"Uh...Heh Heh! Your fine!" Really? His face told it all.

"Beast Boy. Don't lie to me. Just because I don't have my powers doesn't mean I can't sense liars." I said. I can sense idiots too. There's one standing right in front of me and he looks like a green highlighter with hair.

Hey, just because were alone in the desert doesn't mean that I can't have a little fun.

"Fine. Your pulse is going really fast." Just what I thought.

"I shouldn't be running. We've got a couple hours until we get there. I'll just go on your back." I said, getting a sudden burst of energy. It was most likely from my high blood pressure. When I stood up I got dizzy and fell over. I am in seriously bad shape. And the symptoms get worse the closer I am to death.

He turned into a camel and I quickly hopped on his back.

Finally! We're here. I hopped off of his back and he changed back.

"Thanks for carrying me the whole way." I thanked him. He was about to say something like, "no problem", but I stopped him when it hit me. A stabbing pain in my leg where the sting is. I tried holding it but it hurt to the touch. I can't even stand at this point. Beast boy rushed over.

"What's going on?" He asked. I couldn't speak to him. I strained and grunted.

God this hurts. Finally it went away. I sighed in relief.

"It's just another side effect." I answered. Beast Boy looked sad.

I think he is even more worried about me now.

"Raven, are you sure you are going to be ok down there?" I've never seen him this concerned about anything. Not even eating meat accidentally got him as concerned as this.

"Ye-yeah." I stuttered. That wasn't very convincing, but that's because I don't think I will be ok. I think I'll die before I get home. But I'm still going to try. And I can't tell him that anyway.

I looked at him signaling, "Do you want to say it?" He shook his head. Then he signaled the same thing. I shook my head. I groaned. Fine. I'll say it. I got up and stood straight and firm.

"Beast Boy, go to hell." Saying that was not easy. Then there was a red flash and a radiating heat wave. When the flash died down there were bright red flames. I was trying to fan myself, but It didn't do much good.

"Ugh. It's hotter in there than out here." I'm stating the obvious.

"Really? I thought it would be colder down there." Beast Boy joked. We laughed, but were cut off by,
"Come in daughter." My father. Crap. We walked through and the gates shut behind us with a loud clang.
