Nashi
It made no sense. What's going on?
I found the letter and gave it to mum just like daddy asked, and now she shoved us into our clothes and ran downstairs with us, we didn't even get to eat breakfast before we were pushed into mom's car. Mom put the SCP plug on her wrist and we shot out of the garage and barreled down the streets, whizzing past other cars and narrowly missing civilians.
"Mommy, what's going on?" I asked, but mom ignored me. I repeated myself again to no avail before turning to my older brother. Taiyo looked just as confused as I did.
"Onii-chan, what's going on?" I asked, Taiyo looked from me to mom and shook himself, he didn't know either.
"Hang on you two! We're going to Fairy Tail!" Lucy snapped, then added quickly under her breath, "That good for nothing snot kisser, who the hell is he to just up and abandon us like this? I swear to god when I get my hands on him I will make him wish turning back time was possible... I will kill that little fu-"
"MOM!" Taiyo shouted, he grabbed my head swiftly and covered my ears before mom got too into the cussing part. "NO CURSING!" Mom murmured an apology before Taiyo released my ears, leaning back into his seat with a grave expression.
"Onii-chan, what's going on? Did dad really leave us?" I asked.
"We're on our way to find out, don't worry," Taiyo said, he reached over to me and pulled me closer and enveloped me in a fierce hug. The seatbelt I wore forbade him to completely hug me, but I was grateful. "I won't leave you I promise."
His tone was off and his body was tensed, so much so that his embrace made me feel the creeping anxiety. "You have gotten harder here and colder here," I said, poking a finger to his jawline and then to his heart. Taiyo looked down at me and clutched my hand tightly in his.
"No, it's fine, we're going to see dad again, but for now we gotta find out if he really did leave," Taiyo huffed.
"But Taiyo-nii-"
"Be quiet, little sister."
His tone was cold and his body was tensed, I hated it when Taiyo got like this- all serious and scornful. I liked it when he smiled, even when nobody else did.

Lucy
Never in my life had I wanted to kill someone more than now, I was eavesdropping on my kids and their conversations, Nashi was a ditzy girl, completely opposite to her straight forward brother, but how their tones were now was creepy. Nashi sounded... I don't know how to describe it, the only adjective I could find was bleak. She didn't sound hopeful, but she didn't sound desperate either, she just sounded strange. Taiyo's tone was opposite to hers and beyond anything I've heard from him, he sounded vengeful. I don't blame them, they may be kids at the tender age of a single didgit, but they were smarter and stranger than most kids, probably since their father wasn't exactly human to begin with. And it was their father that I was pissed of beyond compare with. How DARE he abandon us like this? Being all noble and such with the resolve of "killing Acnologia for Gajeel's sake" and "Doing it for humanity". Well screw him and screw his damn objectives!
I came to a screeching halt in front of the guild and turned off the car, I removed the plug from my wrist and opened the door for the kids, they wordlessly got out and held my hands as I walked them inside the guild. The guild as just as chaotic as ever, but this time boiling rage was filling the atmosphere. They were arguing with each other and fighting- but this wasn't like the everyday fight here, they were using magic and swords, as if they were truly fighting for the upper hand and not for a display of strength. And during this fight was the shouts of anger, and I noticed from each side, they were arguing while fighting, arguing over Natsu.
