Sitting at the edge of her bed, Blue squinted as sunlight blinded her through a crack in her curtains. Was it really morning already? It felt like she had just fallen asleep a second ago. She stood up and walked over to her dresser. Rummaging through her drawers, she glanced over at her closet. She had a strange urge to look inside and make sure it was still there but she pushed back the thought. Of course it was still there. No one knew about it. She changed into her choice of clothing and left her room, closing the door behind herself. She walked past the living room and made a B-line to the kitchen. Seeing Gio washing the dishes was no surprise. He did all the chores around the apartment.

"Late start this morning?" Gio asked, noticing Blues presence.

"Yeah. I was up all night." she answered, settling down at the table.

"Let me guess," he started. "You were watching that hentai again?"

Blue pounded her fists on the table. "Its an addiction."

Rolling his eyes and smiling, he continued. "Anyway, I made you some pancakes for breakfast. Eat up!"

"Theres no way I can eat all those." she stated, starring at the tower of pancakes on the table.

Grabbing the fork in front of her, she reached over to get her first pancake before freezing. "Wait, did you wear a hair net this time?"

"Of course not." he answered, turning on his little stool to face her.

"Darn it, Gio!" she slammed her fork down. "You know your hair gets in the food! You're a dog for crying out load!"

"Well sorry! But if you recall, I don't have thumbs!"

She stood up. " You can't put on a hair net but you can do the freakin' dishes!?"

"I never said doing the dishes was easy."

Sighing, she walked over to the front door. "Im going out."

         "Where?"

         "I don't know. I'll figure it out as I-"

"I smell breakfast!" a voice interrupted.

Gio turned to see Nixon walk into the kitchen and glared." Look what the cat dragged in."

"You really gonna start with me this early in the morning, mutt?"

"I'm a purebred and you know it." He spat.

Blue eyed them. For some reason, even as a puppy, they never got a long with each other. They fought like cats and dogs, or in this case, unicorn and dog.

"Whatever." Gio interrupted her thoughts. "Go ahead a eat. Blue made the pancakes, right?" he smirked.

Blue shrugged in response as she slid on her black boots.

"Alright! Now this is how you get the day started!" he exclaimed, sitting down in front of the pancake tower.

Blue headed out the door without saying another word

"Why is there hair in the food!?" she heard Nixon yell out before the door closed behind her.

She walked down the path and past the neighboring apartment doors. Suddenly, she turned her head when someone caught her eye. It was GG. She was having trouble throwing away her trash bags into the large bin. Blue thought about going to help but continued to watch instead.
