We've all seen Youtube videos where the host dumps tonnes of ice cream into a tray, let's it freeze overnight and then struggles to cut it out with a cookie cutter and knife before it melts.
Again, what are hacks for? To make life easier.
So, here's how you make perfect ice cream sandwich: • Find a sharp knife. More like a knife used to cut bread. • Buy ice cream in a container the shape you want your ice cream in Sandwich to be. For eg: ice cream in circular jar like container or rectangular box like. • Also make sure the container is made of any cuttable material. Like thick card or paper. You can also use plastic, it'll probably makes things 10× times harder. You'll probably need a saw like knife and lots of strength. Not impossible though. • Heat the knife a little, in the microwave and cut the frozen ice crean container width wise. • Place the slice on one cookie and peel out the cardboard or slide out the plastic and place the other cookie on top.
