Max and Gidget: The First Date (Editing)

Chapter 2

Max's POV

Once we got to our destination, Gidget and I jumped out of the car. I felt dizzy, I couldn't even walk in a straight line without tripping. I looked over to Gidget and she's perfectly fine, wow that girl is tough. After I regained stability, I noticed that Gidget's bow was crooked. I went up to her to fix it.

"There you go. Perfect!" I said as I finished straightening her bow.

"Thank you Max." She said in a sweet loving way.

"Hey did the driver tell you if he was going to pick us up?" I asked.

"Yeah he did. While you were dizzy, he told me he would be back in like two hours to pick us up." She explained.

"Great that gives us enough time."

"So Max where is this surprise place you're taking me to?" She asked as she looked around.

"It's right here." I said pointing to the factory right in front of us.

"You brought me to a factory?" She asked confused with a tilted.

"Well... um... yeah" I said nervously. "But it's not what's on the outside that counts it's on the inside that matters. Yeah it looks ugly and grey out here but inside those walls is a place you'll very much love." I said choosing my words carefully.

We walked into the main gates of the factory, with out alerting security. We walked through the parking lot all the way to the building. Eventually we reached the loading area. I saw that there were minecarts making there way into the factory. I helped Gidget hop into one, since she wasn't the best jumper. I hopped in after and now I knew that the ride was about to begin.

No One's POV

As the cart entered the Max started at Gidget, as she went wide eyed from seeing all the meat everywhere.

"Oh my god! You weren't kidding about the inside of this place Max!" She said looking back at Max "This place is amazing! Look at all these different meats everywhere. It's beautiful."

Max chucked and said "Not as beautiful---"

At that moment a load of beef sausages fell on both dogs. Max and Gidget popped there heads out of the sausages they were buried in. Bot Gidget and Max's stomachs began to growl, and their mouths began to salivate at the site of food. Both dogs began to hallucinate of a land of little hot dog people wanting to get eaten.

After their fantasies ended, they layed on a conveyer heading towards the shipping room. They layer there satisfied with all the food they just ate.

Max broke the silence by saying "Well we should start heading home before our owner's."

Max's POV

We were walking out of the factory when I notice a familiar van parked on the curb. I took a closer look then it hit me it was owned by animal control. I wasn't worried at first until u saw thy a Gidget wasn't wearing a collar.

I told her in a fearful manner "We should start walking faster."

"Why Maxy?" She said concerned

"No reason"

"Is there something wrong? Please tell--" she was cut off

I saw in shook as the metal pole came down and hooked Gidget's neck.

"Max help!" She yelled

I ran under a car. I poked my head out to see the man putting her in a cage. I glanced at Gidget and I saw her tears before the door was closed. At that moment I felt my heart sink as they drove off. I might never see Gidget again, even worse she probably thinks I'm a coward for running away. I noticed her pink bow had fallen off. I picked it up and began to whimper.

Tears ran down my face "I have to save her no matter the cost."

I stood up and ran back to my apartment "Snowball will know what to do"

No One's POV

Max ran the fastest he ever ran. When he finally made it to Snowball's place, he ran straight in. Snowball was watching tv when he noticed Max.

"So Tinydog how'd that date go with yo girl"

Max barely able to breathe dropped the bow and said "Gid..(paint) Gidget was..(paint) taken by..(paint)."

"By who!"

"Animal control..."

At this point Max couldn't breathe anymore and drooped to the ground.
Snowball fetched him a bowl of water then said.

"So you came to me for help"

Max nodded while he slowly got up to drink the water. "We have to rescue her. I'm the one that got her into this mess so please help me."

Snowball gave him a smirk then said "Stay here and rest. I'll help Ya, but first we have to assemble my squad."
