My hands were shaking, literally shaking.I knew that Nick wouldn't do anything or react aggressively.But I have always been afraid of confrontation.Maybe that's the reason I couldn't ever talk to my mom about our situation.I glanced at my clock, it's 4:45.Nick was supposed to be here at 4:30.I beat my toes together out of nervousness.

I'm late again.I overslept.I usually don't sleep on afternoons but I was so tried from the game this morning that I couldn't keep my eyes open.I opened my phone to see if Zoey called.There were no missed calls but a message.

I called her from behind.
"Zoella?"
"Hey." she said looking back at me.
" I got us coffee.Matcha with goat milk for you."
"Thank you so much." she smiled genuinely.
"So you wanted to talk?" I asked sitting beside her.
"Uh..hmm.. you wanted to talk too." She said taking a sip from her matcha.
"Ladies first."
"But I'm a girl" She tried lighten the tension building up.
"Whatever you first"
"Nope."
