Chapter 5

Katherine's POV

I woke up to Jacobs arms around me and I started to panic. Where was I, and why were his arms around me? I then remembered last night, and smiled at the thought.

I guess when I was having my mini panic I woke Jacob up. He looked around with a somewhat confused look on his face. Then he looked at me and smiled.

"Good morning beautiful." He said with his morning voice.

"Good morning Jacob." I replied with a smile.

We went downstairs to the kitchen and nobody was up yet. "Do you want me to make breakfast?" I asked Jacob.

"Yeah, that will be great." He said as he slid into a chair at the bar. I made some french toast, bacon, and scrambled eggs. Not trying to brag or anything, but man did it smell good!

Mark and Callie walked in the kitchen holding hands. Awe! They were so cute!

I gave them there food and walked back over to Jacob. He was on his phone scrolling through his social media accounts. "I wonder if the other guys are up yet." I said putting my head on his shoulder.

"Let's go find out." He said, grabbing my hand and running up the stairs into one of the rooms. I couldn't tell who was in there because it was so dark. Then I saw Hunter and Emily cuddling. They were both still asleep. I heard Jacob whisper, "1..2..3" And then we both jumped on top of them. Hunter shot up and Emily screamed. Jacob and I were laughing so hard that i could barely breath!

We ran to the other room and turned the lights on and off continuously. Brandon fell off the bed and Margaret pulled the covers up over her head. "Good morning!" Jacob yelled and then ran out of the room holding my hand.

*Skip breakfast*

Everyone left and I grabbed my bag and started to head out when Jacob grabbed my hand and spun me around so that we were facing each other. "Thanks for coming over, I had so much fun!" Jacob said and kissed my head. "Thank you for inviting me! I also had so much fun!" I replied. I gave him a quick kiss. "I will text you when I get home." I said and headed out the door. I don't know why I said that because we are neighbors but whatever.

"Ok bye!" He said as i was in my yard.

I walked in my house and went straight to my bedroom. I put my bag up and jumped on my bed. I turned some music on and started singing and dancing like a crazy person. I forgot to text Jacob so I sent him a quick message.

Katherine- I'm home. I enjoyed it!!

Jacob- K. thx for coming. Love you!!!

Katherine- Love you!!

I changed into some sweatpants and a tank top and got on my computer. After about an hour I got up and did something with my life. (Lol) I went outside and got on my bike. I rode down to the ice cream parlor and got a chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream cone. I sat at a little table outside the store and watched the people walk by.

Once I finished my ice cream I got on my bike and rode up to the park. I saw Callie and Mark holding hands running around taking selfies. I pulled my phone out and took a video of them. I sent the video to Jacob.

Katherine- look who i found. lol. they are so funny

Jacob- lol! thats hilarious

I went home and took a quick shower. When I finished I hopped on my bed and turned some music on and started dancing. Apparently my blinds were still open so I got a text from Jacob with a video of me dancing.

Jacob- look who I found.. lol your blinds are still open btw

Katherine- thx for telling me.... i really appreciate it.

I was so embarrassed. He was still staring at me through the window so I blew him a kiss and quickly closed the blinds. I hopped in bed and fell asleep.
