I'm excited.

It's Boxing Day.

Which means I get to see my family, and Harry's family.

For the first time in months.

I'm very excited.

I could hardly sleep last night because of the excitement, I haven't seen our families for a while because of work, so when we arranged to spend Boxing Day together I honestly couldn't wait. My mind is racing with different things that we are going to do: family traditions, dinner, jokes, presents, I'm so excited to see everyone!

Me and Harry are currently sat in his car, so far we have been driving for three and a half hours, which means that in half an hour we will be back home in Holmes Chapel. We have played every car game imaginable, listen to the CD 3 times over and now we're just chatting to pass the time. Harry slept like a baby last night, I know he's excited too but not as much as me obviously. He looked so sweet with tiny snores escaping his mouth, I couldn't help but observe him.

He's wide awake at the minute and is having no trouble driving the mindlessly boring hours back home; Whereas I on the other hand am shattered, but feel wide awake, I think it's the excitement.

As we drive the familiar route I begin to feel bored yet again, my mind flicking to different things to do or think of, only to come back unsuccessful. I release a large sigh and rest my head back, slightly defeated. "What's wrong love?" Harry's beautifully husky voice asks.

"I'm just a bit bored, that's all." I huff.

After five minutes of silence - and deep thought on Harry's part - he broke the silence, "We could play another game if you'd like?" He offers sweetly. That's one of the many things I love about Harry, he always aims to please; he hates to disappoint people or when people aren't happy and he will do everything in his power to change that. The consideration he has for his family and friends is what makes me love him, it's one of many things that make me love him more and more every day.

I smile gratefully at his suggestion and nod simply knowing it couldn't hurt to play a little game to pass the time. After naming several different car games we decided on one. Race to twenty. Basically, two players have to take turns to count to twenty, whoever lands on the number twenty loses, but players can say multiple numbers (three max) at once, so anyone could win. "Okay I'll start!" I say with much more enthusiasm knowing that we only have to occupy twenty minutes. "One."

"Two, three," Harry smiles cheekily, he thinks that he is going to win.

"Four, five, six," I chuckle the tension riding in the car with us as we continue our little game.

"Seven," he answers.

"Eight, nine," I smile widely at us getting closer to the target number.

"Ten, eleven, twelve," I am not going to let Harry win, I never win when it comes to games, he always finds a way to beat me so I am not giving up.

"Thirteen, fourteen," I answer skeptically trying not to lose.

"Fifteen, sixteen," he laughs.

"Seventeen, eighteen," I chuckle at his beautiful laugh, getting slightly distracted.

"Nineteen," he smirks knowing that he has won already.

"Aww no! That's not fair, you distracted me!" I whine childishly.

"How did I distract you?!" He laughs at my childish manner knowing that I hate losing.

"Because you have the most perfect laugh and I got distracted, you big stupid head." I mumble, he bursts out laugh at my stubborn attitude.
