I'm not sure what was worse; not getting into Hamilton or not being able to tell anyone about auditions. It had less then a week since I left San Francisco and not telling my friends was killing me, slowly but surely. Tonight they were coming over to hang out and watch Lin on SNL since he was hosting and I had a feeling that it was going to be very hard to not slip up, but I wanted to keep my promise to Lin. He had asked me to not tell anyone about the auditions so that meant that I couldn't tell my friends that I knew him and that I had his number either, since I don't know how I would explain getting those. Speaking of Lin I should text him and wish him good luck for tonight since he's hosting SNL and it's a pretty big deal.

I smiled at my phone, every time I texted Lin it reminded me of how lucky I am and no matter how bad of a day I'm having he can always make me smile. He's basically become my best friend over the past week since we text everyday, sometimes it's just to see how the others doing or if Lin is stuck while writing or if I'm stuck on homework or if one of us needs advice. I wish I could be in New York with him tonight but I'll be there in spirit and he knows that. I sigh getting out of bed, it's 12:30pm and my friends will be over around 5. I decide to work on my weekend homework so I don't have to do it tomorrow. It takes me about 2 hours and I decide to eat something and get ready trying to kill time while waiting for my friends. After I get done showering and get dressed my phone starts ringing, I pick it up and am surprised by the caller;

I press except and wait for the call to connect, when it does I see Lin surrounded by a bunch of people in what looks like a dressing room.
"Ellie!" He says when he sees my face.
"Hey Lin where are you?" I laugh seeing all the people behind him.
"I'm in an SNL dressing room and some of my friends are here," he says smiling, he looks so excited- like a kid on Christmas morning, "I want to introduce you to them!" He gets up taking the phone with him and starts going around the room. I laugh as he tells everyone to quiet down and then starts introducing me, "Guys my friend Ellie is on the phone, she's only 16 so don't say anything bad," he says and I laugh at him.
"Hi Ellie!" I hear and then the camera is turned on none other then the Jonathan Groff. My eyes go wide and start to realize that everyone in the room is from the original cast of Hamilton. Jonathan laughs at my face and keeps talking, "Lin has told us so much about you and he showed us your YouTube videos!" I face palm myself making everyone laugh.
"Thanks Lin," I say glaring at him through the phone.
"You're welcome!" He yells and then Leslie pops into the frame.
"Ellie!" He says smiling.
"Hey Leslie!" I say remembering how much I miss him.
