Granger to Riddle

   I woke up and looked over at Draco a smile playing along my lips. Life was pretty great here. But still there was a nagging at my heart. I knew what I had to do.
  Go back to school. Graduate from Hogwarts. Get a job. It's not like I needed the money, but I needed work. Schoolwork. Smartest witch in her class? Ha. Not anymore. It had only been three weeks since I'd last stepped foot in Hogwarts yet it seemed like ages. I missed the teachers. The happy feeling like nothing could go wrong. I even missed the homework. Three weeks yet it felt like I'd aged three years. I wanted to be back at school, be a little kid again. I knew I couldn't ever go back the happiness of before this mess, but I knew I definitely had to graduate from Hogwarts. (ok I keep writing graduate from high school instead of graduate from Hogwarts plz correct me if I mess up) So dig Draco, Sassy, Peter, Harry, everyone. Out of the three weeks, two had been winter vacation, so we won't have missed much. I know Mrs. Weasley would be delighted to care for Scarlett. (Also guys I'm so lost with what time this story is in so I'm going to put in early January same school year as the whole story, just please ignore it if the time doesn't make sense)
   I roused Draco and informed him of my plan. He didn't look too happy about it but understood how it was for the best. He sat up suddenly a grin taking over his face.
  "Hey, does that mean that war in having against you and Sassy is back on?" I laughed
  "Oh you're on!" I yelled sending a quiet spell to turn his hair neon orange. Hey I had a whole week of vacation time, and this town was TINY! I quickly pranced around getting our bags packed. We were going back to school! Sure this wouldn't magically solve all our problems but hey hopefully it'd make some things better. If only Dad would stay away until I graduated.
   I heard a screech about MY HAIR from the bedroom. Seemed like I had more pressing problems that Dad at the moment; how in the world was I going get back to school without Draco killing me for coloring his hair.
