We have been searching through the floors that we thought Axel might have been, but with no luck. Still, we haven't found any sign of the others. Then again, it's been very quiet. The alarm turned off for a while ago, but guards are still looking around, so we need to be careful.

Jacob is in the office since he lost his helmet he can't walk around exposed, but if Axel decided to show up when he got him. We are supposed to meet him upstairs in like ten minutes. I don't know what we are going to do now. We haven't found anybody yet.

"Loki." I lay my hand on her shoulder, and she turns to me right away.

"We have been almost everywhere and, well, maybe he is not in the building at all," I say, giving in to my tiredness. I can't keep on going anymore. All I want is for this to end. It's all I wish for, and I looked so forward to it, but now everything went not after the plan. Why did I even think it would?

I mean the whole way over here has not gone after the plan. I watched Finn being shot right in front of me with his blood covering all of me. I kicked a man down from a roof. I fell in love with the girl that I was supposed to kill.

I walked thousands of miles for revenge but found something much bigger than that. I found a whole new world. A messed up world. I want to go back to the way it was.

"We need to find him, Frey." She says, and I sigh of exhaustion.

"I know, but we have been searching and found nothing." I shrug.

"We are not giving up." She tells me lightly, and her sweet voice makes me smile. It wants me to keep on going. I need her. She keeps me in place. I take a deep breath as I nod.

"You're right, let's keep on going," I say, and Loki takes my hand in hers for a short moment before she lets it go.

We found our way back down to the lobby. There is a lot of movement around us, people running in panic.

If it were not for knowing that Axel is still here somewhere, I would have thought it was amusing to watch because this is how revenge looks like, For them, this is their end.

They are under attack, and I imagine that the feeling doesn't feel so good, but for me it is. It's satisfying for me because this is what I have been waiting for, but the man we want dead is not here.

"Keep looking," Loki whispers next to me, and I nod as we wander through the messed up crowd. They are yelling and shouting through every room about leaving this area for a safe place.

Which is the base, maybe Axel is on the way there as well? That it's kind of a protocol to do? That they have been training for this. Like we prepare for battles.

I stop Loki with my hand around her arm.

"We should look outside or at least for a car," I tell her, and before I know it, she drags me after her, making me almost stumble, but I get my feet back on track as I run after her.

"Where we are going?" I ask.
"There is a floor under the basement, just like it was at the Wastlander's place. I heard them talk about it." She rushes us back to the elevator and pushes a button.

"He better be there, or I will make him cry even more," Loki said after she took off her helmet and pushed her beautiful brown hair back her shoulders. I take off my helmet as well and rub the heat off my face and fix my hair as well.

I notice that Loki is staring at me with her soft eyes. I see only that look in her eyes when she stares at me. She is so focused on me that I find it a bit uncomfortable, but I love it at the same time. Because you can't just see it, all the love she has for me shows on her face. It's incredible how much she has changed.

She was hiding every emotion when I first met her, and now she is showing every piece of love she has inside of her. It's not possible to hide what lies inside you, because it's the only thing you know and want. You have to embrace it, and you can never walk away.

I smile as bright as the sun is, taking a step over to Loki and drag her armor to push her towards myself.

"You can't look at me like that and not kiss me." I chuckle, and she smiles her beautiful smile as she stares down at my lips. Teasing me with all that she is. I feel her forehead resting on mine, and her soft breathing is very soothing to listen to. My eyes shut close automatically of the sweet rhythm.

My arms wrap around her waist as I wait for her. Loki's warm hand traces the skin on my cheek. It's so tender the way she touches me as she is scared that her affection would break me. Her slowness turns me impatient, and there are only seconds until the door opens.

"I love you." The silent whisper from Loki's mouth warms my heart. All the coldness I had has faded away after Loki showed me her love.

"I love you too." I smile, and Loki puts her lips on mine. This might be our last kiss.
