"Maine." The look on RJ's eyes were impossibly sad. Maine's were, too. She was trying not to cry because if she did, RJ would bawl out.
"Love. Uwi din naman ako kaagad. I just have to stay for a few more days." Maine said. Her fingers fiddled with his then they intertwined them with each other.
"Love, I want to stay. For you." He looked at her, memorizing her features as if they'd be parted long.
"Hindi pwede eh. You know the drill." Maine bowed her head. "Sabi sayo we'll turn into pumpkins come by morning eh." Maine said.
"You're still a princess. You're still my princess. You'll forever be my princess." He hugged her. He hugged her tight. "I love you."
"I love you, too. I'll see you as soon as I get back." Maine tried to put on a wide smile. Then RJ whispered to her something that made her blush redder than ever before.
"I hacked your phone, too. Last night. Left something for you. Nagiwan ka kasi sakin eh. Tandaan mo lang, baka mamali ka nanaman ng post." He giggled then kissed her ears. She bit her lip.
"Sunduin mo ko sa airport pag balik ko. Agad."
