Cyra Morris is a high school student at Merton High School. The 7th and 8th graders are also mixed in her high school. She isn't popular at all, but she doesn't fit into the nerds group either. But her best friend is a nerd.
In 8th grade, Arian Cooper arrives to her class, and she calls him...the key to her heart. She gets devastated every time she hears something about him and another girl together. But she still loves him, she can't get that feeling way from her heart. She has to become popular to have Arian respond to her feelings...but how? She can't take it anymore and she goes to the bad girls; the post popular girls next to the group of sluts. She asks to join them so she can get Arian's attention once and for all.
The girls aren't going to let her in the group easily. They have 'tests' to see if she has 'skills' for the group. These 'tests' will hurt other people and will definitely hurt Cyra too. Will she get Arian to pay attention to her in a serious way? But most important of all...will she pass these tests...or will she chicken out?
