#1 - Everyone knows that Mireya and Alec were a couple back in college. But Alec wanted it to be more especially when they had an amazing drunk night. Mireya got pregnant from it and Alec was gonna propose. But a hit and run change their lives, more so Mireya's than Alec's. She lost the baby and was diagnosed with infertility. No longer wanting to see her in pain, Alec left in search of his family.

#2 - Yes, Danny and Mireya have been friends since high, but what you didn't know was that Danny is in love with her. Even when she was dating Alec. Even when he found out she was pregnant and in love with someone else, he was still in love with her.

#3 - The relationship between Mireya and Elijah.... ok I have to admit that she did have a slight crush on him when they first met, but it changes. The more she spends time with him the more he becomes a true brother figure to her.

#4 - As you all know Mireya's dad, Jason, is a Hunter. Supernatural Hunter. Werewolves, vampires, and witches... he only hunts down the ones that kill to many innocents. During one of his hunts he meets his future wife, Catalina. He made a promise to his father that he would never fall in love or have a family. So, after a one night stand, he left her. But of course, he could not stop thinking about her. And when they found each other she was pregnant with Jasper, and so he broke his fathers promise, married Catalina, to raise a family. Jason retired right after Mireya was born. Jason knew Catalina's secret, but didn't care.
