"Jungkook, Yoongi and I are hungry go make us snacks." Jimin ordered as he searched through a box of movies, occasionally shouting out a recommendation.
"You go make some." Jungkook grumbled tiredly. Taehyung doesn't think he's seen anyone who's looked so depressed in his life...he felt it deep within himself, this urge to make this boy happy; to make him smile.
"It's your house." Jimin shot back, standing up just to sassily grab his hip. Yoongi looked up from the spot he was sitting right by the younger, licking his lips as he saw Jimin's thrusted out hip. Shivers ran down Taehyug's spine as he observed the way this boy was glancing over Jimin. What made him look at him in such a way? It was as if he was hungry for something-
Taehyung's thoughts wandered off from there.
Hunger.
He was so hungry.
But being beautiful was more important.
Right?
Right.
"Taehyung can help you." Jin's voice broke Taehyung from his seemingly endless thoughts as he glanced up nervously, a slight smile on his friend's face. He looked down noticing that Jin and Namjoon were holding hands, Namjoon's thumb firmly rubbing circles into the other boy's skin. Taehyung looked away quickly, pretending he didn't see anything. Inititially, the poor boy felt a sense of fear. Was Namjoon going to take Jin away from him? What would he do without him? Taehyung's parents cared from him greatly but many times, Jin was the one to really take care of him: making sure he got decent grades and comforting him when he needed it the most.
"I uh..yeah okay." Taehyung stood up and pulled the sleeves of his sweater over his hands. Jungkook looked down for a minute and reconsidered his decesion.
"Okay fine. Follow me." Jungkook directed towards Taehyung, walking past him quickly. But neither of the two boys failed to notice that their shoulder's had gently brushed against each other, making both of them stiffen slightly. Taehyung followed the raven haired boy on a walk to the kitchen that seemed to take hours. He took this time to disreatly observe the features they boy had- even if it was just the back of him. Taehyung wanted to take it all in.
"I can feel you literally staring holes into the back of my head." Jungkook commented rather coldly, opening the door to the kitchen. He stood in front of the door, holding it open for Taehyung but the boy wouldn't move, he just kept staring at Jungkook, as if he was in a trance of some sort.
"Are you going to come in?" Jungkook asked impatiently as he stared into the brown eyes of the other boy.
"Oh yeah, sorry." Taehyung mumbled, awakrdly walking in to the large kitchen. He heard the door close behind him as Jungkook instantly went to some cabinets, grabbing multiple sets of bowls.
"So your name is Taehyung, yeah?" Jungkook asked as he grabbed a knife and started to cut into an apple. Taehyung studied the apple intently, feeling bad for the fruit. It was such a bright colored red and very pretty. Jungkook cleared his throat, noticing the brunette's weird actions.
"Yeah my name is Taehyung. But you can just call me Tae if you want...if that's easier for you I mean." Taehyung looked at boy and shuffled his feet a little, "I think your name is really cool by the way."
The way Taehyung tried to keep the conversation going seemed almost childlike to Jungkook...almost kind of cute.
"Ummm thanks..."
"I realized I could shorten you nickname down to Kookie. You get it? I really like cookies. Like a lot, you know?" Taehyung wasn't quite aware that the way he decided to keep the conversation going was rather strange, but Jungkook didn't have the heart to call him out on it so he went along.
