Since we're in Christmas break at school, I've been seeing Tanner almost every day. The other day we walked around and he grabbed my hand when we walked. He looked so fragile and it upset me how he couldn't change and become happy again. I'm not exactly understanding to the best of my ability, but I'm really trying. I know that I was sad--depressed even--when mom passed, but that was my reason. Tanner is sad and he doesn't know why.
