That's all I feel
The sadness is gone
in a way
I haven't cried
in forever, it seems
I can't find the energy to
I haven't smiled
I haven't frowned
I guess I haven't done much of anything lately
Maybe teachers are noticing
I haven't been turning my work in
Whatever
I think I stopped caring
It's like
if you break a bone
it hurts so much
that you can't take it anymore
so it goes
numb
I suppose
if your soul is broken
it goes numb
too
