She stared out the window, a frown upon her face. The snow was still in the process of melting, the sun not hot enough. Flowers still slowly blooming. The bright green returning to the trees around her childhood home.
In all honestly she wanted to see her.
She was lonely.
Alone.
She told her she could be close, that they could stick together.
Those left behind should stay by each other's side.
Now she waited in her bedroom. A small fraction of her heart wanted her to return, to find her causally sitting in her bed or in her living room. She just had a need to see the pink huntress. It's funny, they are meant to be enemies, rivals, wanting the other dead.
That pink huntress once attempted to killed her once, if not for her mother, she would have died right there on that train, bleeding out on the metal floor until she was truly gone.Yang sighed, she wondered,
"what are you doing?"
"After all these months, what have you done?"
Everything was still a mess, Beacon and the kingdoms were being filled with Grim.
Yang shook her heads as she didn't want to recall any of those horrid memories. That night she lost her arm, the day her friends died, the day, the day her partner ran away.
She gripped the curtain, anger, she was filled with so much rage and saddens. Emotions stuffed deep in her heart. She didn't want to care anymore for the fear of being broken again. The fear of having another shattered heart.
Then again, she didn't want to loose herself, she'd be consumed in this negative emotion and be sucked into the abyss. The blonde did her best to keep it together.
With Neo's visit, she might start walking away from the darkness.
Something about that little huntress captured her interest.
A week ago she felt sympathy and could understand the pain she felt. She did not care if she was criminal, no one deserves to loose someone so close and dear to their hearts. It could take years just to get over something like that.
The girls walked back to her bed and took a seat. Calming her nerves. In all honestly she was falling for her partner but she ran, and those feeling seemed to leave her. It hurt her, it hurts so bad that it breaks her heart everyday since Beacon first went to hell. Since she first ran. She could picture it all, running away without looking back, not even the smallest of glances to see her once more time before truly leaving her.
The faunus had an effect like no other person.
But she knew now, she wasn't coming back.
Yang ran her hand through her hair, taking in breathe of air as she let go of some of the stress.
She examined her only hand and looked down to her missing arm. She was upset, furious, she wanted revenge for what that bull faunus did, but she was in no condition to do just that.
The blonde sighed and took a quick glance outside.
"Please, i have no one, so come and visit me."
She stood from the bed and walked toward the end of her room, and reached for the door, leaving the room in silence. The house stood quietly, being only her father and her. Ruby still on her mission with what's left of team JNPR and Qrow just left, most likely for his own reasons which he did not care to explain.
I wonder where dad is? Yang pondered and walked along the house. No one was home, leaving her alone was more.
Yang sat in the living room, letting out a heavy sigh, until something caught her eye. A dark figure running along the front window.
A bit of panic set in and the other part secretly hoped for it to be her. No matter the circumstances, it could be an intruder .Yang quietly walked toward the front and reached by the nearby cabinet which held her father's spare gun. She stopped for a moment and turned to the front of the door. Her hand folded around the door knob, quickly opening it. Once fully opened she reached for the gun in a flash ,the weapon now in her hand and pointed at whoever stood at the door.
Only no one was there. It was quiet. Just the sound of her own breathe.
But her nerves did not calm down, quietly she moved along her home with the weapon held high. Listening for any moments in the environment.
She stood by the corner and took a quick breathe until exposing herself to the open area, gun held straightforward. Ready to shoot whoever stood by the household.
Her eyes noticed a figure but she refused to ask who they were. She was filled with anxiety and her senses just kicked in, she pulled the trigger.
The mysterious figure quickly lifted their weapon, deflecting the bullet, as it was aiming for their head. The person stood in shock at the reaction given to her sudden appearance.
Yang lowered the weapon with a beating heart and eyes widened at the person that stood across from her.
"Neo." The blonde let it a sigh of relief.
Neo stared back with wide eyes for a moment before calming down from the recent bullet that aimed for her head.
"I though you were an intruder, you scared me." Yang admitted.
The pink huntress gave a small bow, a sign of apology. She had no intention to scare her, let alone have a gun directed for her head.
Neo smiled faintly at the blonde and walked toward her. Yang's eyes never leaving hers.
She smiled happily at her, she was happy to see her agin. The bad guy happy to see her rival, her hero.
Neo let herself fall against Yang's chest, wrapping her arms around the girl's waist.
She lifted her head and continued to smile at the blonde.
Yang returned the gesture, her wish was granted.
To see her again.
