"Miss Kennedy. Tell me more about yourself." Niall said as we sat down at a table draped with a crisp white table cloth. I smiled before crossing my hands in my lap.

"What do you want to know?" I asked. He squinted his eyes a bit in concentration before they became big and bold once again. I could tell he certainly thought of something.

"Your likes and dislikes." He stated, leaning back in his seat.

"I beg your pardon?" I asked not completely understanding.

"Tell me all of the things you like and dislike." The music around us was faintly playing and I tapped my finger to the beat of it.

"Well. I like a lot of things. Piano is quite enjoyable. I love Halloween. It's my favorite holiday. I love the color blue and the smell of rain. I really enjoy a nice relaxing day all to myself at home with a lot of boxed whine and chocolates while I watch Arrow," I earned a small chuckle from him before I continued. "I also love Jasmine Thompson. My favorite song by her is Willow. It's quite beautiful. I however dislike country music. It's... Different. Not a good different either. I don't like hot and humid places and I don't really appreciate when people come up to me and touch me without a reason. It's quite annoying if I were to be honest. I also have a very strange feet fetish. It's really weird actually. Feet are that is." I looked up at him to see if he was still listening and to my surprise he was. His full attention rested upon me and I couldn't help but blush.

"May I ask you a question?" I asked quietly.

"You just did." A smirk played with his lips as he started fidgeting with his glass of water set in front of him.

"Why did you ask? About me, I mean." He squinted his eyes, I made an unconscious side note that he did this when he was thinking.

"Well, you are very important to the company now and I thought I'd get to know you better. For business that is. Plus, I needed to get your mind off of all those reports." I sighed once he brought the subject up.

"I still have yet to finish editing those Niall." I could've sworn his eyes lit up when I said his name. I shook it off instantly because after I blinked it was gone.

"Well, consider it pushed off. I'll give you a new due date. Is next Wednesday fair enough?" He asked. I couldn't help but smile widely at his offer.

"Please, that's way more than enough time to get it done. Thank you." I was so surprised as to why he was being suddenly kind to me. It was different. I liked it though.

As we continued speaking I learned a lot of things about him that I didn't before such as his parents were divorced and he had a brother named Greg who was back in Ireland.

"Greg's got a son too. His name's Theo." He spoke, showing me a picture off of his phone. There was a small boy that looked almost identical to Niall. He had bright blonde hair that was a bit longer then his uncle's. He was clad in a blue button up with khakis and black vans. His eyes sparkled with the same blue that Niall's were and it made me smile.

"He looks exactly like you. How old is he?" He smiled before pulling the phone away to look at it himself.

"He turns 3 next month. You know I get that a lot?" I looked him with a puzzled expression before asking.

"What do you mean?"

"That we look a lot alike. But all too often people say he's a bit more handsome." He said with a sigh, looking up at me with dim set eyes.

"Well, where do you think all his good looks come from? He certainly can't get all of them from his father." I said daringly staring down at my wine before taking a drink out of it.
