Part 109: The Returning Festival Year Two!

The  next morning kay and ratchet awoke to find that the twins had now learned how to escape from there cribs as they had pulled kay and ratchets blanket off of there bed and the twins were giggling and playing peek a boo with it with each other, kay giggled at there antics as ratchet  walked around the bed and picked tesla up tickling him, "so you like waking mommy and daddy up like that huh cutie?" ratchet chuckled to his tiny son as tesla squealed in glee, kay smiled at the sight and picked up hexa from the floor and cuddled her close, "sweetie if you want i can get the twins dressed while you get bolt and sussie up and dressed for the festival today." Kay said with a loving smile as ratchet nodded and left the room to go get the kids up and dressed for the returning festival, once the kids had gotten up, had gotten dressed and everyone had eaten breakfast, kay and ratchet stood at the front door of the mansion with the entire household, "ok is everyone ready to head down to the festival?" kay asked as angela held up velos diaper bag and kaden and clelia held up a bag of toys they were bringing for the twins to keep them busy during the festival. Kay smiled and nodded as ratchet opened the door and they all headed down to the festival and to the small stage that sat in the middle of the town plaza, kaden walked up onto the stage first and addressed the large crowd of lombaxes who were all smiling and looking cheerful, "hello everyone and welcome to our second annual returning festival, I'm sure that your all eager and excited to start with the festivities but first our watchers wish to speak to you all!" kaden said as he handed kay the microphone and she took it and stepped forward to address the crowd of smiling faces, "hello everyone my family and i are overjoyed to see you all gathered here again to celebrate our second year back on our beautiful home of fastoon!, you have all done so well fixing this planet up into what it now has become! my family is so proud of you all, we are also very proud to show you the newest members of our royal family! angela and alister have had there first child and have named him velo!" stated kay as angela and alister showed the crowd velo as he could now stand with angelas help, the crowd awed at him and kay smiled and continued "my husband and i of course had prince tesla and princess hexa who have now just learned how to eat solid foods!" kay stated as ratchet held up the twins to the crowd as the lombaxes awed at the tiny prince and princess twins, "and we have saved our newest royal member for last, everyone we would like you to meet our adopted daughter princess sussie!" kay stated as she walked over to sussie and brought her front and centre for the lombaxes to see, she blushed and waved at the crowd as they awed at her, she then hid behind kay as kay smiled and nodded at sussie, "don't worry everyone she's just shy like how bolt was when he first stood here last year!" stated kay as she handed the microphone to bolt and she helped sussie down from the stage and back over to kaden and clelia, bolt ran up to the crowd of lombaxes, "HI EVERYONE!!!!" yelled bolt as the lombaxes happily said hi back to there prince, "i like being up here, it makes me feel like a big boy, i threw a snowball at my daddy the other day and it gave him a black eye!" bolt stated to the crowd as they all laughed at there prince's antics, ratchet smiled and walked over to his son and said into his own microphone, "ya he did and it hurt! but bolt here has done a lot in this past year, he became a big brother and at one point he even saved us from dr nefarious!" ratchet stated as the lombaxes exchanged looks with eachother and started to murmer amongst them selfs, "don't worry like i said he saved you all from him, bolt tell the nice lombaxes what you did to that meanie dr nefarious!"  ratchet said as bolt giggled, "dr neffy tried to kidnap me and tried to make me evil to hurt my parents but i didn't want to be bad so i threw pudding at him and his Buttler and then when they threw me in a jail cell i got out and sat on a big red button that blew up dr neffys ship!! it was funny!!!" stated bolt as the lombaxes laughed and cheered at there brave prince, kay walked over and stood beside ratchet and smiled at bolt. "Yes bolt has now proven to be a brave future leader just like his parents and were all so proud of him !" stated kaden as they started the festival and angela handed kay and ratchet and bolt there plans for the festival, bolt took sussies hand. "You can come with me and help me do my list sis!" bolt stated as they all ran off to do there festival plans as angela and alister sat on the main stage with kaden and clelia as they baby sat the twins and velo there for the day, the day had passed by quickly and finally the sun was setting as the royal family walked back onto the stage to close up the festival for the second year, ratchet asked if the crowd wanted to hear a story from him and clank before they closed up the festival, a young lombax girl about the same age as bolt asked ratchet if they could tell the story about how they defeated tachyon, ratchet smiled at the little girl as they started to tell the story of there defeat of tachyon, once they finished the story they thanked the lombaxes for another fantastic year of hard work and they closed up the festival and headed back up to the mansion for the night,
