Part 917:Is It Safe Or Not?!

Three days had passed, ratchet and Kay awoke to the front doorbell ringing, ratchet groaned as he looked at the clock and then got out of there bed,"who the heck could be hear at this time of the morning?" Ratchet asked as Kay sat up in there bed and she shrugged and watched as ratchet left there master bed room and headed off downstairs,once he reached the landing, he looked out the peephole and was shocked by who was standing there, he opened the door to find dr gears standing there, "hello there king ratchet! I'm sorry for coming by without telling you first but I was on my way over to the hospital for the day and I thought I would stop in to see how queen Kay is doing since its been over a week so far!" stated dr gears as ratchet yawned and nodded, he took dr gears up to there master bedroom and dr gears walked over to Kay who was now wide awake and kinda looking a bit Ill, "hello there queen Kay I'm here to see how things are going for you and that tiny embryo!" Dr gears stated as Kay nodded, the dr checked Kay internally and gave a surprised look at the royal couple, "this is simply incredible your majisty! Have you been in bed this entire time? Cause I see a plug in your cervix Kay! And those only form if the baby is safely in there!" Dr gears stated as Kay nodded and pointed over at ratchet, "he told me to stay in bed!" Kay said with a giggle as ratchet smiled at his wife, the dr nodded and started a ultrasound of Kay's stomach, Kay and ratchet held hands and smiled as the image of the tiny unborn Lombax appeared on the screen, it was about the size of a large peanut on the screen but Kay and ratchet loved it right away, dr gears studded the screen and nodded, "it's hard to believe it but this little one is fine and growing in there safely, there's no problems that I'm seeing! Congrats your majesty's this tiny one is a fighter just like its parents!" Dr gears told Kay and ratchet with a smile as Kay looked up at her husband and they kissed, ratchet broke the kiss cause a question popped into his mind, he turned to dr gears and asked him, "dr is it still to early to see if it's a boy or a girl?" The dr nodded at them, "it's to early right now to tell, but next month we should be able to see if there's a tail or not in the ultrasound, that is if the baby's laying in a good position so we will be able to see it, any other questions?" Dr gears happily asked the royal couple as they looked at each other and they shook thee heads no, dr gears nodded and said happily,"well if you have any questions don't be scared to call me and Kay I know that your hiding the fact that your not feeling well, and that's just due to the baby growing in you, so if you do get morning sickness it won't hurt the baby at all! I will see you to love lombaxes in a month for the next check up!" Dr gears said as Kay nodded at the dr and he and ratchet left the bedroom and ratchet thanked the dr for stopping by and he helped him out the door, once the dr had left ratchet walked back upstairs to be with Kay but halfway up the stairs ratchet heard singing, he walked over to the master bedroom to discover that it was Kay singing a song to her stomach with her eyes closed, ratchet walked into the room and sat in bed next to her, he placed his hand on her stomach as he listened to her sing, once Kay had finished and she had opened her eyes up again, she was shocked to see ratchet back in the room and enjoying her singing,she blushed as ratchet kissed her, when they broke the kiss ratchet chuckled and stroked her stomach softly, "your voice and that song were so beautiful honey that I'm sure you just lulled our unborn baby back to sleep in you!" Ratchet told Kay with a loving chuckle as she blushed and she laid her head gently against his shoulder and they stayed like that for another hour until everyone started to get up for the day.
