Why, God, Why?

"22 Moses returned to the LORD and said, “Why, Lord, why have you brought trouble on this people? Is this why you sent me? 23 Ever since I went to Pharaoh to speak in your name, he has brought trouble on this people, and you have not rescued your people at all." Exodus 5:22-23

Here, Moses forgot and ignored what God had told him earlier, that Pharoah would not listen but God would still deliver them. He was disappointed and frustrated, becuase when he obeyed God, it brought trouble instead of immediate sucsess. But he didn't see that God was still at work. Today, remember this verse:

"[They were]22 strengthening the [other] disciples and encouraging them to remain true to the faith. “We must go through many hardships to enter the kingdom of God,” they said. " Acts 14:22

Have you heard "rain before the rainbow" or "you have to climb the mountain to get to the peak"? Well, that's what this is saying. God wants to teach us that troubles and difficulties that make things seem hopeless come before freedom and miracles.

As believers, we must have faith in God and His Word and trust Him to work in His own, perfect, time.

So if you are going through a difficult time, remember that this is just a season, a night-long storm, and God is still at work in your life. God is still going to bring you your rainbow, lead you to your peak, and the whole season will be worth it. Have faith that God is in control, and He knows what He's doing. After all, He is the Creater and King of all! Nothing is too big for Him. Watch as He will change your life for the better, as long as you trust Him!!
