Two days later.

"JC stop!" I laugh as he tickles me.

I started to scream really loud which is when he finally decided to stop.

"Shh!" He half laughs and helps me up since I was laying on the floor.

I brush the dirt from my thighs and laugh.

A week from now, Jc's leaving and I won't see him again for awhile.
You might be wondering why I care so much, and to be honest I'm wondering the same thing.
Am I getting more feelings?

It was silent for a second.

JC walked away and got a drink from his fridge.
"Are you thirsty?" He asks.

"No I'm fine." I smile and say.
I didn't like taking things from other peoples houses. I always felt guilty afterwards, even if it was simply a water bottle or something even less.

"Rosie. You haven't drank anything since six pm yesterday at your house."

"I know." I say.

He pulls out a soda and hands it to me.
"Drink it." He demands.

"Thank you." I say.
Sometimes I'd take it if people really actually wanted me to.

I open it and sip from it, JC occasionally hitting the bottom of it lightly pretending like he was going to make me spill it.

"Stop, you hoe." I spat.

He laughs. "Feisty I'd say."

I nod and jaylyn walks downstairs.
She's really pretty & she's fourteen, I'm nineteen and don't even look that good.

"Bubby! I didn't know you were home!" She yells and runs up to him, hugging him.

She still called him bubby. He told me when he told me about all his family last night before we left to come here, she's not like a child, that's just her nickname for him.

She didn't know he was home because he was staying at my house.
We weren't doing anything bad, infect we didn't even sleep in the same room.

"I missed you jayjay." He says and let's go of her.

She looks at me and studies me for a minute. "Good job bubby." She smirks and playfully hits his chest.

He shakes his head no.
"We're friends jay." He says.

She looks at him and frowns.
"Sorry." She says and turns to walk away.

"Well come say hi to her at least." He pulls her back by her arm.

"Hi I'm jaylyn." She says.

"Hi I'm Rosie." I say and shake her hand.

"Nice to meet you." She says before scurrying off back upstairs.

"You know, teenagers always being antisocial."

I drop my jaw.
"Jerk." I mumble.

"I'm sorry! I forgot your nineteen."

"Oh wow okay." I say and turn to walk away, pretending to be mad.

"Fine, then leave." He says.
That hurt, I was expecting him to care.

I look back at him to see his expression. He looked angry, I grabbed my phone from his kitchen table and walked out the door.

The door opens from behind me. "WAIT!" he yells.

I smile and stand still. When I manage to quit smiling I look back.

"You forgot your jacket." He says.
Of course.

"Oh." I say and take it from him.
I turn to walk away but he hugs me.
"You know I was Kidding." He says.

I smile again.
"I do now." I say.

"Come back inside with me? Its cold out here." He says.

I nod. "Yes please."

We walk back inside smothered in blankets and watching movies.
