Sit Still (Worry)

"Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." Matt. 6:34

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." Phil. 4:6

As the sun begins to set,

And the moon has arised,

Let your head rest,

Close your weary eyes.

Focus not on the future,

Nor on your past and make sure it lasts.

Tomorrow will deal with it's self,

Leave the worry to the sun.

God has it all under control,

With both Spirit and Son.

But when tomorrow comes,

Focus on one task at a time.

Take your eyes off of pennies and dimes.

Forget about the test next period

Or rehearsal after school.

You can deal with it when it comes,

Don't fight with yourself in a dual.

Just concentrate on what's before you

And let the rest go to the Best.

For He will take care of it all,

He will not let you fall.

It will go to His Will.

Be idle, sit still.
