Ginger's singing

It has been a couple weeks since I got the part my first actual rehearsal for the mover is coming up. I have been writing songs for my album that Varrick was able to get me an awesome label, under one condition. Everyone thinks it is Ginger's voice.
I hid my song book in my closet and set off to the studio. Ginger needs to rehearse the lip syncing and I need to practice singing backstage.
Nobody on set even really knows it is me singing unless the work backstage.
After practicing the songs for a couple hours Varrick said he needed to get rid of some foot fungus or something so we have the rest of the day off. Guess I can head home early today.

"Ohhh y/n glad your back! Wanna meet some of me and Korra's friends?" Asami said filled with excitement (Asami knows you have a job she just doesn't know what it is exactly)
"Uh sure! What time?"
"Uhhh now..." she said with Korra giggling behind her
"Okay then lets go!"
"Yay! Okay so we are going to this AMAZING water tribe food place that one of our friends loves!"
"Sounds good" I said as getting in the backseat of Asami's Sato mobile, with Korra in shotgun, and Asami driving.

We walked in and took a seat in a rounded booth.
"Oh! Korra, y/n! They are here!"
I saw two guys walk in the restaurant searching for us until their eyes landed on us then their eyes brightened.
"Asami! Korra!" They both said happily
"Guys this is me and Asami's good friend y/n. She has been staying with us at air temple island for a while now."
"Hello it is nice to meet you y/n. The older one said
"Hi!" The younger one said his eyes filled with excitement
"Nice to meet ---uh what's your guys' names?"
"Oh where are our manners! I am Bolin and this is my brother Mako!" He said very cutely
"Well nice to meet you Bolin and Mako" I said with a smile, which Bolin returned. Man he's a cutie
We all sat down and ordered after the introduction.
"So Bolin how have you and Opal been doing?!" Korra said while wiggling her eyebrows. Of corse he has a girlfriend.
"Oh well-- me and Opal uh-- broke up.."

"Oh No! That's awful! When did this happen?!" Asami said. Oh yeah.. awful... ugh I am being so rude!
"A couple weeks ago... but Varrick's new mover has me distracted."
Wait a minute! Bolin! He is the lead male! Shit shit shit shit shit!!!
"Yeah Bolin was bawling for days until Varrick showed up and told him about the new mover, so he auditioned and got the lead.. again." Mako said
"Oh! That's great! About the mover I mean... I am glad you found something to keep all that breakup stuff at bay." Asami said
"Yeah!" Korra agreed
"So y/n what do you do?" Mako said
"Oh! Uh-- I work in wardrobe for Varrick's mover actually." I replied
"Wait really!!! That is so cool!" Bolin said
"Yeah you mentioned getting a job... I had no idea you were working for Varrick though!" Asami said
"Uh yeah I am backstage most of the time and stuff" well I wasn't lying about that
"That's so cool all I do is just say line after line... it gets tiring after a while. But you! Your like amazing! I have seen the costumes wow!"
"Thanks" I said hiding my almost blush even though I had nothing to do with the costumes.

Ginger is having a live performance in the bending arena of her 'singing' even though it is just my singing recorded.
I went to watch with it with Asami, Korra, Bolin, and Mako.
Then she started lip syncing *cue the song above*
During the performance bolin said
"Wow she is amazing I could listen to that voice all day" which caused me to blush a lot. Thank god for it being dark.
About half way through the music stopped but she kept lip syncing... to no music oh no.
"Wait she is lip syncing?" Korra said
"Looks like it" Mako said
"Wow I had no idea they made it seem so realistic too. Bummer" Bolin said
" I wonder if that is her actual voice though" Asami said
"Doubt it" Mako said
The room was filled with whispers and Ginger ran off the stage crying poor thing...
"Attention! Everyone I know you are all thinking... That isn't Ginger's real voice?! Well you are right it isn't... but if you watch the premiere of my new mover in one month after the mover you can watch the actual voice perform! Seem fair?" Varrick finished
WAIT WHAT I DIDN'T AGREE TO THIS!!! I was internally panicking my thoughts being interrupted by Asami
"I am kinda exited to find out who had that  beautiful voice."
"What I want to know is why they stay hidden."
Korra said
"Probably stage fright" Bolin said
"That would make since except if she was why would she be performing in front of everyone at the premiere" Mako replied
"That is true" Bolin said rubbing a fake beard

In front of everyone.
Those words echoing over and over.
