It Started With a Dare || Cake♡

Chapter Twelve: Pranks.

Luke POV♡

I wake up with someone shaking my shoulders.
"LUKE!! We have ten minutes until we have to be on stage" I open my eyes to see Michael standing there shaking me.

"What?" I yawn, I must have fallen asleep with Calum, "Where is Cal?"

"Ashton was supposed to wake up both of you for sound check but only woke up Cal because you looked really tired" he explains as I sit up.

"Dick head" I groan, and stretch. Michael laughs and we leave the dressing room and we run to the back of the stage where the waiting room is.

"I'm going to be so hungry" I mutter, while we run.
"Well, you can't eat now you will be sick on stage" Michael says when we reach the waiting room I groan in response.

"Luke, come here you have bed hair" Lou pulls me to the closest mirror and sits me down and starts to do my hair.

"Just stay in what you're wearing it's perfectly fine" Stella says looking up from her phone for a second, I nod.
"Don't move" Lou chuckles.

"Luke, eat these" Ashton passes me a bowl of chips and I eat them without replying to him. I eat them quickly and after finishing them my hair is done.

"Fuk we have two minutes left, Luke hurry up" Calum, who's limping obviously, says and we thank everyone before rushing out and into backstage. I could hear the screams, I love it.

"Luke why were you sleeping?" Todd asks me when he passes me my guitar.

"Ask the assholes who didn't wake me up" I look at Calum and Ashton and Flick them off with a certain middle finger. Todd laughs and goes to help Calum as I get ready.

Ashton comes over to me and I push him away.
"Irwin, go away."
"Not until I say I'm sorry" he says.
"Go away" I roll my eyes and someone yells,
"Get ready!"

Calum goes first, Michael follows and Ashton runs with me because he totally missed his cue.

We start the beginning of 'I've got That Friend' and everyone screams and soon everyone is singing along.

Today the concert goes quickly until we start playing Heartbreak girl, it's the first chorus and I step next to Calum, who has been in the same spot nearly all night, and I just vomit.

The boys look at me but they keep singing like we practised Michael takes my parts. I try to stand up but my stomach growls and I have barely a second before I vomit again all over Calum's shoes.

The song takes longer then it usually does and when it finishes Michael, Ashton and Calum start laughing so loudly. I frown and my throat hurts as I try to breath through my mouth.

"The chips worked" Calum yells through the mic and everyone in the front two rows cheer.

"I did it!" Ashton cheers and everyone screams. I close my eyes before I have to sit up to vomit again, this time off the stage.

"Yay, go team 5SOS" Michael yells causing screams all around the arena.
"Thanks Vegas for the idea!" Calum laughs.

"Our last song for the night is Beside you" Ashton yells.
"I dedicate it to my boyfriend who is half sick" Calum laughs and tries to help me up, which I slap away his hand.

Todd runs onto stage and I change to my acoustic guitar and he takes away my other one.
"Just stay sitting" he pats my back and I sit looking out at everyone.

We start playing the song and I choke a couple of times on the lyrics and my throat hurts and I croak. Let's just say I sound like shit.

I should have drank water.

When the song finishes we say our good byes and Calum tries to hug me but I push him away. I wasn't in the mood for him.

We make out way off stage and I see my mum there and I rush straight into her arms.

"Aw baby are you okay?" She says while patting my back.
"I feel really bad"
"Let's get you some water" she sighs and takes my arm and leads me to a table where there is water and food.

She passes me a water bottle and I drink it all within a minute.

I feel my stomach rejecting the water and I turn around and vomit on the ground making Calum squeal and jump back and he has to hold up his sore leg.

"Not anymore on me mister" he laughs and I put the rude finger at him.
"Fuck off Calum!" I groan.
"Hey I think I get to be pissed too you vomited on my shoes."

"Hm and who's fault was it that I was vomiting in the first place" I say and he shrugs.
"Come on Luke it was a prank" he tries to laugh but I shake my head at him.
"Screw you"

"Come on Lukey!" He starts whining and I realise my mum's gone somewhere. I roll my eyes at him and he sighs, "what's the big deal anyway it was funny!"

"No!" I say annoyance clear in my voice, "I just fuking vomited on stage in front of my fans! You know I hate vomiting! You for one should know! You were there!" Tears start to appear in my eyes, tears of anger.

~FlashBack Starts~

"I can't believe you got us this gig, Cal you rock" I laughed as we were backstage of our school hall.

Michael was tuning his guitar, grinning widely. It was obvious he was thinking of how Maddie, his girlfriend of the time, was going to be impressed.

"Luke calm down it's not really a gig" Cal laughed back and passed me his bass to tune while he tuned my guitar.
It was just easier for us to tune each other's instrument if we were nervous.

"5 Seconds of Summer are here to perform" We heard our principal say to our assembly.
"Michael, you first" I said and he shook his head his fringe moving across his face.

"Cal you?" I asked and he shook his head as well, "I guess it's going to be me."

I stood in front of my school alone until Calum and Michael came out next to me.

"Hey we're 5 Seconds of Summer" Calum said into the microphone, "or you could call us 'The Best Band Ever!"

"Way better than One Direction" Michael laughed. Which made everyone in the assembly start laughing at how stupid we were.

We started singing I miss you by Blink 182 and half way through Calum's bass went out of tune horribly and he looked at me angrily. I knew he was blaming me.

"I miss you" I sang way out of tune and Calum smirked at me. That's when I felt my stomach rejecting all the food I've had in the last 12 hours.

I didn't have time to run off the stage or react. I just puked all over the stage where we were standing and the crowd starting laughing loudly and clapping.

Calum was as well, but not Michael he stopped playing and helped me off stage.

I heard Calum saying goodbye and sorry for everything going wrong. I started crying at that point because I knew he blamed me.

I thought we were going to break up and that made me more sick. Making me vomit backstage as well.

I've hated vomiting because it reminds me so much of that day.

The day I thought I would lose Calum and Michael to my stupidness.

~Flashback Ends~

"I forgot" he says and suddenly he pulls me into a hug so tight I can't push him off.
"Damn you!" I blink the tears away.
"But you won't ever lose me or Michael or Ashton" he whispers.

"Let go" I groan and he does just in time before I cough badly.
"You've looked better" I turn to see Michael and Ashton standing there.

"Fuk all of you" I say.
"Don't be rude" Michael laughs.
"Come here you big baby" Ashton laughs and holds open his arms.

"You probably don't want to hug him" I hear my mum laugh as she comes back to us, "he'll vomit all over you."

"Well, I'm his boyfriend it's all fine" Calum laughs and pushes in front of Ashton and hugs me again.

"Let's get you guys in the showers you all stink" Liz says and we all follow her to the shower room.
I know she's irritated that I didn't tell her I'm dating him, I should get around to that.

We all get into separate showers and my mum goes to get our clothes and towels for us.

"Luke!" I think Michael yells over the water.
"What?" I ask as I hop into the water.
"Did the chips taste good?" I know it's Michael now.
"Shut up" I groan and we go back to showering in silence.

When we're finished I see one towel on the floor and Michael using one.

"Where are the other towels?" I ask while I rush forward to pick up the one on the ground.

"I don't know, your mum just brought two" he says and then pulls me further away from the other two or are showering.

"Why?" I whisper and tie the towel around my waist, and he winks at me.
"It was your mum's idea to get back at us" he laughs.
"But it could've been me?"
"I know" he seems to laugh harder.

I roll my eyes and turn to face Calum and Ashton's stalls.

"Can't they just wear their old stuff?" I ask and he shakes his head.
"Liz took all of our stuff to the washing when she brought the two towels."

"Holy I love my mum" I say and we both laugh.

After another 30 seconds both Ashton and Calum stick their heads out.

"Hey, where are the towels?" Ashton asks and stays behind his curtain.
"Guess" I say and they both look at Michael and me.
"Guys come on!" Calum whines and Michael and I start laughing.

"What did you even put in those chips?" I ask as my laughing starts to finish and then they start laughing.
"Some sort of vomiting powder, Josh gave us" Ashton says and then laughs even more.

"I don't think you have the right anymore to laugh" I say and they stop and realise that they don't have towels.

I quickly get an idea while Michael is laughing, I rip his towel off his body and I quickly run to the door.

"What?" He looks at me and quickly covers his areas, "YOU CAN'T DO THAT LUKE!"
"But I can" I stick my tongue at him and he runs back into a shower stall as Ashton and Calum laugh at him.

"I love this" I laugh and then Josh rushes in, only in his boxers.

"Ashton, can you do me a favour?" Josh asks and goes into a spare stall.
"What?" Ashton says in response. Josh doesn't realise that they are naked.

"Could you ring my mum tell her I'm hanging with you tomorrow?" He answers as he stays in his stall probably putting on clothes, "she doesn't believe me."

"Yeah course, see you tomorrow honey" Ashton laughs and Josh comes out of the stall fully dressed.
"Love you too Ashy poo" he laughs and rolls his eyes at me.

I blush, I may be a little jealous.

I knew Josh and Ashton were friends, but weren't Ashton and I?
And we're dating now...

Everyone looks out of their stalls, and waves at Josh.

"Bye boys" and he walks past me and pulls the towel around my waist down and walks out.

"JOSH!" I yell and everyone laughs and I hear his laughter down the hallway.
I tie the towel around my waist again and look at the three boys laughing their heads off.

As I stare at the three boys one thought goes through my mind, Ashton and Josh, were they more than friends?

I turn to to Calum and he's staring at me with a slight smile.

Butterflies start in my stomach and Calum winks at me before laughing more.

Damn Calum. I really love you.
