first ever dream
of you
lying next to my bed
on the floor on your right
side hands
together under your
right cheek (like a girl i thought like my mother)
relaxed
sleeping
every time i looked
you were lying
deeper
under my bed
in the lots of space there i put
a snow white pillow down
that you
took
in your arms -
i knew it was
me -
i kept watch over your
peace-loving
slumber
deep underneath my bed
if not for seeing you sleep
like that
i would only guess
about delight and love but now
i know
they have
your shape
