Missing

Rangiku sighed as she read the paper on her hands!'seriously? With these paperworks?' She sighed again knowing that she has no choice but to do it if she doesn't want an earful from her captain
"And he was nowhere to be found!" She pout
Hitsugaya Toshiro 10th squad captain was out of quarters leaving his lieutenant on the paperworks on His desk he was nowhere for almost 5 hours already...
She heave another heavy sigh as she started to finish the mountain of works
She was busy on her work  when Momo came
The girl was confuse to see Rangiku instead of Toshiro
"Ara!where is Shiro-chan?" She asked
"He's out!" Rangiku answered stretching her arms and exercising them
"Since when?" Momo asked again
"Since this morning"
"B-but Ran-chan its already five o'clock he's been out that long?"
"Ehh?5:00?" Rangiku glance at the clock,she gaped she had been working that long?and on top of that his captain hasn't come back
She stood up and ran pass Momo and flash stepped to almost every part of soul society
But she came back with nothing but worry
She was panicking already that she went straight to the head captain's quarters with out a second thought
"Head captain!I'm sorry for my rudeness sir but something's wrong!" She said kneeling infront if the old man
"What is it lieutenant?"
"Captain Hitsugaya is missing sir!"
The man raised a brow
"And why do you say so?are you sure he's missing lieutenant or you are just making a fuss?" The captain asked impatiently
"Sir! You know well who captain Hitsugaya is!he will never leave work without a word and he will never leave knowing paperworks are Piling on his desk!" She said with a hint of worry and panic in her voice
That caused the captain to open his eyes
"He was not back you say?"
"Yes sir!"
"Did you search every part of soul society?"
"Almost!I even searched at Rukongai!"
"In soukyoku hill?"
"Yes!"
"Lieutenant!I'll call for a meeting to all captains to find captain Hitsugaya! I forgot to ask if you can feel his reiatsu!"
"I ca......" She froze her heart was pounding
"I can't either and I am feeling bad about this!"
"Thank you sir!" She bowed to Yamamoto as she was dismiss
As said the captains of the Gotei 13 started to search
They were all panicking  for the young taichou's reiatsu was nowhere and so was he,two days passed and the search was still on
Rangiku was about to lost it
Until
"Ran-chan!" Momo called
"What?any news?"she asked nervously
" I don't know but the head captain wants to see us!" She said as they both hurried

"Sir you called for us?" Rangiku and Momo bowed
"Yes! Its about captain Hitsugaya!" His voice was stern yet it had the hint of sympathy
Just then Byakuya spoke up
"I found this at soukyoku hill!" He handed the two girls a haori soaked in blood a kanji 10 was on it's back and a sanpaktou
The two were shocked its Toshiro's haori and sanpaktou Hyourinmaru 
"Those are only things I saw, I didn't get a glimpse of Captain Hitsugaya or His reiatsu,I should say it was gone! I'm sorry but...."
"Captain. Hitsugaya Toshiro of 10th squad is dead! His importance will be remembered by soul society and from this day forward!you! Lieutenant Matsumoto Rangiku will ascend and take over The position captain!" Yamamoto said his voice was clearly saying that Rangiku shall not question

Rangiku's eyes widened
"Dead?captain me?" Tears started to flow Down ner cheek
