Ever since the war with the Quinces Toshiro has been stuck in this adult form of his. He hated it at first but got used to it after learning to fight with the bigger body he had. Rangiku would tease him about all the fan-girls he would get.

"Damn it!" Toshiro yelled, slamming the door to some love struck girls, "How many of these demons are their?!"

"Oh come now captain!" Rangiku laughed while patting his shoulder, "its only natural a hoity like you now would get some attention. Well you did have attention, but not as big as this!"

"It hate this..." Toshiro sighed and sat in his seat. "I can't even work on paperwork or even go to the bathroom without a girl trying to bombard me with her so called 'love'."

"Well get used to it. Oh right! This came into the mail!" Rangiku handed him a letter, "It's from some girl called (y/n)."

His heart skipped a beat. You were his second childhood friend, but one he couldn't remember much when you moved away to squad zero. You were a bit older than Toshiro, but not by much and was too not contact people in the soul society anymore.

"Maybe they lessen their rules... after the war maybe..." He mumbled to himself and opened up the letter. Once he was done he looked at the clock, gasping. "She's coming any minute."

The screen door opened up as bright light came in. "Hello? Is this squad 10 office?"

It seemed like time seemed to stop around you two. The moment when you locked your eyes on Toshiro you thought he was someone else, but no one could have those colored eyes. He was... hot... when the hell did he get this sudden growth?!

"(y/n)?" Toshiro spoke first, "Is that you?"

Not only did he change but you changed as well. You weren't short or round faced anymore, but look like a real and beautiful young woman, one that the zero squad would like to have, along with the power you had inside.

"Y-Yeah... it's me." You replied with a smile.

Rangiku watched the scene, quiet and smiling like an idiot. You both didn't notice her as you took a step forward. "Sorry I couldn't come to you all these years."

"I understand why you couldn't. But... I missed you, a lot after all these long years.

A small smile came over his face when you hugged him, tightly with all your love. "You don't know how much that means too me. After I joined zero squad I thought you hated me with the connection lose we had. I'm just... so glad you don't hate me."

Tears rolled down your cheeks as Toshiro gently wiped them away. "I would never hate you. Momo and I still talked about you, but not from hate but from past memories of each other."

A shaky laugh went through you. "I saw her first before I came too you. She told me you changed, but I didn't think this was that big of change."

Toshiro sighed deeply. "Don't tell me you think of this as a good thing. Half of the time I can't even work because a girl is in the way!"

You laughed out loud, your laughs always brought a smile to his face. "You are so mistreated! Say, how about we catch up? I only have a week down here before I have to go back."

He smiled and took your hand, something he never done before. "Sounds great."

Once you guys left Rangiku released her breath, a huge smile on her face as luckily she took some hidden photos of you two. "This will sell me millions!"
