Dani's PoV

I woke up with a huge headache and a pain on the side of my head.

What they hell happened? Me and Elena were going home when I was knocked out.

Suddenly alert, I instantly sat up, checking my surroundings.

I noticed I was in an old house, that was falling to pieces.

I looked to my side and saw Elena. She was awake.

"Dani, are you okay?" She ask.

"Yeah, I just have a headache," I say, "what about you?"

"I'm fine," she replies.

"Where are we?" I ask.

"I don't know, they haven't said anything," she tells me.

"They?" I question.

At that moment a women walked in.

"You got us. The least you can do is tell us what you want from us," Elena says to her.

"I personally want nothing," she says, "I'm just a delivery service."

"Delivery to who? Elijah?" Elena asks.

I look at her, "who's Elijah?"

"Apparently our worst nightmare," Elena responds.

"Is he a vampire?" I ask.

"He's one of the vampires, the originals," the women tells us.

"What do you mean, the originals?" Elena asks.

"Again with the questions. Haven't the salvatores been teaching you your vampire history?" She asks us.

"So, you know Stefan and Damon," I say.

"I know of them. A hundred years back, a friend of mine tried to set me up with Stefan," she informs us, "she said he was one of the good ones. I'm more of a sucker for the bad boys, though, but I digress."

"Who are the originals?" I ask.

"Trevor and I have been running for 500 years. We're tired. We want it over. We're using both of you to negotiate ourselves out of an old mess," the women tells us.

"But why us?" Elena asks.

"Because you're the Petrova doppelganger and you are part of the prophecy," she informs us.

She then looks at Elena, "you're the key to breaking the curse."

"Curse?" Elena questions, "the sun and the moon curse?"

"Oh. You do know your history," she tells Elena.

"what do you mean I'm the key?" Elena questions, "the moonstone is what breaks the curse."

"No. The moonstone is what binds the curse," she tells us, "the sacrifice is what's breaks it."

"Sacrifice?" Elena questions.
