-Any words you don't recognize is in another language-

Gray stared at the adult heroes whom where talking to the younger group of heroes. Batman was currently scolding them for going against their wishes.

No, Gray wasn't late. There was just a time skip. Here's what happened; Gray had found them fighting a bunch of alien-looking creatures along with a clone named Superboy, helped them out(Well, he didn't really help at all), the entire building collapsed(Totally wasn't Gray's fault), and when the Justice League appeared, he had fled into the shadows, though still watching.

"The two of you--"

"The three of us," corrected Kidflash.

Gray stared blankly, hadn't he helped? ...Traitors...

The demon converted his gaze to the sky, having been sitting on a slab of concrete and prompting his head on his fist.

After that he kinda just zoned out.

Man, he loved star gazing. His father used to bring him outside after eating and watch the stars, his father pointing at stars and explaining what they were called.

Gray knew that whenever he felt lonely, he could look up at the stars, and know that someone out there was watching the sparkling wonders too.

"What are you doing here?"

Gray looked at the speaker, having been snapped from his trace, and sudden interest at who Batman was talking to. Although, when everyone was staring at the shadows near him, he realized that Batman was talking to him.

Huffing, the ebony boy sat up and stepped out of the shadows, earning a gasp of alarm from the people who didn't know he was there.

Batman frowned, immediately recognizing the demon, "Gray."

Keeping his blank face, said boy replied coolly, "That's me."

"What are you doing here?" the Bat questioned again.

"Looking for amusement," Gray awnsered, half-true.

He looked over the boy, "You're lying," Batman exposed.

Gray shrugged, "Maybe. Maybe not."

That's when Green Arrow decided to step in, "Listen here, kid. It's ether answer the question, or skat."

"...si tu ce stii...?" asked Gray.

Everyone stared at him in confusion. Gray blinked, "Oh, did I say that aloud? My mistake. I'll leave."

The demon turned around quickly, silently in a full-out panic mode.

Blesten limba demon...

Though, before he could move, Flash spoke up, "Hey, kid."

Taking a quiet deep breath, Gray turned around, "Don't call me kid."

Flash seemed to hesitate and narrowed his eyes, and then doing something completely unexpected. He sped up to Gray, startling the demon and touched his face with the back of his hand. After a moment of this, Flash recoiled back, making the freezing atmosphere attack Gray once again.

"YOU ARE SO COLD!"

"YOU'RE SO FREAKING WARM!"

Came to two's responses at the same time.

They both stared at eachother awkwardly, and Gray was the first one to speak, in his own language, of course, "Sunt eu singurul care e rece...?"

Pause.

"WHELP! It's been fun doing random crap and all, but I'm just gonna..." the demon pointed to a random direction, "...go."

This time, Gray walked backwards, watching if anyone dared to move, and he slunk into the shadows.

The heroes watched in confusion, not seeing as Flash looked down at his hand.

At the places his hands touched Gray, it was numb.

So painfully numb.
