For him, a new school is terrifying. Of course, things are easier when you've got a guide like Phil Lester. He's the dean's son who speaks fluent sign language and knows more about the students than Dan imagined.
Along with a new friend comes people Dan thought he could trust. From bullies to fakes, their two-faced ways may shake his world forever.
The once happy prospect of school suddenly becomes a burden for Dan. Will the possibility of newfound love hurt or heal him?

because dan is mute, i've come up with an easy way for you to understand what he is saying in sign language. whenever he is speaking, instead of having a quote, i will style it like this: Hi, my name is Dan, he signed. (the translations will be italicized.)
