LightBulb's POV:

"Fan?!"

I dashed out of the van as Fan bolted into the forest.
Why was Fan doing this? He's been acting awfully strange today. It's a bit.....irritating.

"Fan, I-"

"Shut up."

Fan snapped at me, his face full of tears, his cheeks flushed red.

I've never seen him act like this before. It's as if I stole something from him.

Something......important.

Wait....

Hold on.....

I think I understand.

"Fan...." I asked.

"Y-You like me, don't you?"

Fan immediately froze. He was trembling, and he began to bite his lip. He tried to run, but he couldn't.

He couldn't escape this one.

No words came out of his mouth, only tears fell from his eyes like rivers.

He only....continued to cry.

It wouldn't stop.
He can't be hurting himself like this. Just because of a simple.....of a simple crush. He just.....He needs to face his true feelings.
I could see the pain in his bagged, bloodshot eyes. I could tell that he felt pain.

I could tell that he knew about us.
He knew that Paintbrush had a crush on me.
He knew that I had a crush on Lightbulb.

And yet, he never confronted his feelings.

I looked up from the ground, and Fan was gone.

"Fan?" I shouted.

"FAN!"

I had to find him. I wanted to help him.

Even though he is annoying at times, he doesn't deserve to be like this.

Paintbrush's POV:

I think.....I think Fan likes Lightbulb.
I already have a girlfriend, but I know that Fan's liked me from the start.

But, for it to turn out like this is....it's heartbreaking.

I searched the entire venue for him, but I had no luck.

"Ahahahaha...."

I heard a laugh, a broken one to be exact. It had to be Fan, it couldn't possibly be.

I looked across the hall to not find Fan, but to find Test Tube practicing a maniacal laugh in the corner.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"Um-Wha-I" Test Tube stuttered.

"Did you....see everything?" She asked.

"Luckily, NOPE." I replied.
